Hubungan Kualitas Kehidupan Kerja dengan Turnover Intention Perawat di RS Dadi Keluarga Purwokerto

ABSTRACT

 

Quality of work life refers to employee satisfaction with work life. A high quality of work life is critical for healthcare organizations to attract and retain qualified, committed, and motivated employees. Quality of work life and turnover intention are challenging issues for healthcare organizations because of their consequences and impact on patient care. Low nurse satisfaction regarding the quality of work life results in high intention to leave. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between quality of work life and nurse turnover intention. This research is a descriptive correlational study with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique uses total sampling technique. The total sample of nurses was 83. The research instruments were The Nurses' Quality of Work Life Scale questionnaire with 20 questions and the Anticipated Turnover Scale (ATS) questionnaire with 12 questions. Bivariate analysis uses the Spearman rank statistical test. The quality of work life of nurses was mostly in the fair category, 67 (80.7%), the turnover intention of nurses was mostly in the moderate category, 41 (49.4%), there was a relationship between the quality of work life and nurse turnover intention (r=0.344 , p=0.001). There is a relationship between quality of work life and nurse turnover intention. The results of this study provide important findings indicating nurses' low satisfaction with the quality of work life and high turnover intentions. The results of this research can be used as a link for the development of regulations/policies and practical strategies to improve the quality of work life and reduce nurse turnover intention.

ABSTRAK

 

Kualitas kehidupan kerja mengacu pada kepuasan karyawan dengan kehidupan kerja. Kualitas kehidupan kerja yang tinggi sangat penting bagi organisasi layanan kesehatan untuk menarik dan mempertahankan karyawan yang berkualitas, berkomitmen, dan termotivasi. Kualitas kehidupan kerja dan turnover intention merupakan masalah yang menantang bagi organisasi perawatan kesehatan karena konsekuensi dan dampaknya terhadap perawatan pasien. Kepuasan perawat terkait kualitas kehidupan kerja yang rendah menghasilkan niat yang tinggi untuk keluar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan kualitas kehidupan kerja dengan turnover intention perawat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Jumlah sampel perawat 83. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner The  Nurses' Quality  of  Work  Life Scale sebanyak 20 pertanyaan dan kuesioner Anticipated  Turnover   Scale  (ATS)  dengan 12 pertanyaan. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji statistik spearman rank. Kualitas kehidupan kerja perawat sebagian besar pada kategori cukup sebanyak 67 (80,7%), turnover intention perawat sebagian besar pada kategori sedang sebanyak 41 (49,4%), ada hubungan kualitas kehidupan kerja dengan turnover intention perawat (r=0,344, p=0,001). Terdapat hubungan antara kualitas kehidupan kerja dengan turnover intention perawat.  Hasil penelitian ini memberikan temuan penting indikasi rendahnya kepuasan perawat terhadap kualitas kehidupan kerja  dan niat berpindah yang tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai penghubung pengembangan peraturan/ kebijakan dan strategi praktis untuk meningkatkan kualitas kehidupan kerja dan mengurangi turnover intention perawat.
