Tren Global dan Perkembangan Riset tentang Prediktor Kelulusan Uji Kompetensi Keperawatan: Analisis Bibliometrik

ABSTRACT
Nursing competency examination serves as a benchmark for evaluating the quality of nursing graduates. Recent research trends indicate that the topic of nursing licensure examinations continues to receive significant scholarly attention. However, global research trends on predictors of success in nursing competency examinations have not yet been comprehensively mapped. This study aims to analyze global publication trends and identify key factors that influence success in nursing licensure examinations. A bibliometric analysis was performed using the Scopus database. Data were retrieved on December 12, 2025, employing a combination of the keywords “nursing licensure examination,” “competency exam,” and “predictor of success.” A total of 218 relevant articles were analyzed using Scopus Analyze to determine annual publication patterns and the most productive countries. The dataset was exported in CSV format and subsequently analyzed and visualized using VOSviewer to identify research clusters and frequently occurring keywords. The analysis revealed a steady increase in global publications from 2015 to 2026, with a peak of 32 articles in 2025. The United States was the most productive country with 173 publications. The VOSviewer visualization identified six major clusters: (1) development and evaluation of clinical skills; (2) factors influencing examination readiness and success; (3) curriculum development to enhance clinical judgment; (4) institutional and peer support during examination preparation; (5) quality assurance and program evaluation; and (6) educators’ and institutional perceptions of academic readiness. Keyword evolution indicated a shift in research focus—from educational measurement in 2015–2018 to clinical judgment and mentoring in 2024–2026. This bibliometric analysis highlights that the most influential predictors of nursing licensure success include academic readiness, learning support, and students’ ability in clinical judgment. The observed trend highlights the importance of continuous curriculum innovation and reform in enhancing the quality and competency of future nursing professionals.

ABSTRAK
Uji kompetensi keperawatan merupakan tolak ukur mutu dari kelulusan mahasiswa keperawatan. Perkembangan tren penelitian yang ada menunjukkan bahwa topik uji kompetensi keperawatan masih mendapatkan perhatian lebih di dunia penelitian, namun, pemetaan tren penelitian global terkait prediktor kelulusan uji kompetensi keperawatan belum dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pemetaan tren publikasi dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kelulusan uji kompetensi keperawatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan analisis Bibliometrik dengan basis data Scopus. Pencarian dilakukan tanggal 12 Desember 2025 dengan menggunakan kombinasi kata kunci nursing licensure examination,competency exam dan predictor of success. Artikel yang relevan sebanyak 218 yang dilakukan analisa dengan Scopus analyze untuk melihat jumlah publikasi tiap tahun serta negara yang paling banyak melakukan publikasi. Data juga di ekspor dalam format CSV dan dianalisa serta divisualisasikan dengan VOSviewer untuk melihat kluster dan kata kunci yang sering muncul. Analisis menunjukkan peningkatan jumlah publikasi global dari tahun 2015-2026 mencapai puncak tertinggi di tahun 2025 yaitu 32 artikel. Negara yang paling produktif dalam menerbitkan penelitian yaitu Amerika Serikat dengan total 173 publikasi. Visualisasi Vosviewer menggambarkan terdapat 6 kluster yaitu (1) pengembangan dan evaluasi keterampilan klinis; (2) faktor yang mempengaruhi kelulusan dan kesiapan dalam menghadapi uji kompetensi; (3) pengembangan kurikulum keperawatan untuk meningkatkan clinical judgement; (4) dukungan saat menghadapi uji kompetensi; (5) evaluasi mutu dan standar program keperawatan; (6) persepsi tenaga pendidik dan institusi dalam kesiapan akademik. Pergeseran kata kunci menunjukkan fokus riset yang dilakukan dimana tahun 2025-2018 berfokus pada educational measurement menuju clinical judgement dan mentoring di tahun 2024-2026. Penelitian Bibliometrik ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang berperan dalam kelulusan uji kompetensi yang paling penting yaitu kesiapan akademik, dukungan pembelajaran,serta kemampuan mahasiswa dalam clinical judgement. Pergeseran tren yang terjadi menunjukkan pentingnya untuk melakukan inovasi dan pembaharuan pada kurikulum agar mutu dan kualitas calon perawat masa depan meningkat.
