Hubungan Stres Kerja, Beban Kerja, dan Dukungan Sosial Terhadap Kesejahteraan Psikologis Caregiver Formal Pasien Kanker di RSUD Provinsi NTB

ABSTRACT

 

Formal caregivers of cancer patients play an important role in the caregiving process; however, high job demands may adversely affect their psychological well-being. Psychological well-being among formal caregivers is influenced by work-related stress, workload, and social support. This study aimed to examine the relationships between work stress, workload, and social support and the psychological well-being of formal caregivers of cancer patients at RSUD Province of West Nusa Tenggara in 2025. This study employed a quantitative analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. Total sampling was used, involving 53 respondents. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank correlation test and ordinal logistic regression. Univariate analysis showed that most respondents were female (77.4%), in early adulthood (50.9%), and had a long working tenure (>10 years) (39.6%). The majority of respondents experienced moderate work stress (62.3%), heavy workload (66.0%), and moderate social support (56.6%), with psychological well-being categorized as moderate (49.1%) and high (50.9%). Bivariate analysis revealed a significant relationship between work stress and psychological well-being (p = 0.003) as well as between social support and psychological well-being (p = 0.026), while workload was not significantly associated with psychological well-being (p = 0.924). Multivariate analysis indicated that work stress had the strongest tendency of association with psychological well-being after controlling for other variables; however, the findings should be interpreted with caution due to limitations in model fit and the cross-sectional study design. In conclusion, work stress and social support were associated with the psychological well-being of formal caregivers of cancer patients, whereas workload was not significantly related.

ABSTRAK

 

Caregiver formal pasien kanker memiliki peran penting dalam proses perawatan, namun tuntutan pekerjaan yang tinggi berpotensi memengaruhi kesejahteraan psikologis. Kesejahteraan psikologis caregiver formal dipengaruhi oleh stres kerja, beban kerja, dan dukungan sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan stres kerja, beban kerja, dan dukungan sosial dengan kesejahteraan psikologis caregiver formal pasien kanker di RSUD Provinsi NTB tahun 2025. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif analitik observasional dengan desain cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 53 responden. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Korelasi Spearman Rank dan regresi logistik ordinal. Hasil analisis univariat menunjukkan sebagian besar responden berjenis kelamin perempuan (77,4%), berada pada usia dewasa awal (50,9%), dan memiliki masa kerja lama (39,6%). Mayoritas responden mengalami stres kerja sedang (62,3%), beban kerja berat (66,0%), dan dukungan sosial sedang (56,6%), dengan kesejahteraan psikologis berada pada kategori sedang (49,1%) dan tinggi (50,9%). Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara stres kerja dan kesejahteraan psikologis (p = 0,003) serta antara dukungan sosial dan kesejahteraan psikologis (p = 0,026), sedangkan beban kerja tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan (p = 0,924). Analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja memiliki kecenderungan hubungan paling kuat dengan kesejahteraan psikologis setelah dikontrol bersama variabel lain, namun interpretasi hasil perlu dilakukan secara hati-hati mengingat keterbatasan kesesuaian model dan desain penelitian. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah stres kerja dan dukungan sosial berhubungan dengan kesejahteraan psikologis caregiver formal pasien kanker, sedangkan beban kerja tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang bermakna.
