Hubungan Usia, Diabetes Melitus, dan Hipertrigliseridemia dengan Tipe Stroke di RSUD Kota Mataram

ABSTRACT

 

Stroke is a leading cause of death and disability worldwide and represents a significant public health problem in Indonesia. Clinically, stroke is classified into non-hemorrhagic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between age, diabetes mellitus, and hypertriglyceridemia with stroke type at Mataram City Regional General Hospital (RSUD Kota Mataram). This study was an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design using medical record data of hospitalized stroke patients at RSUD Kota Mataram. The dependent variable was stroke type, classified into non-hemorrhagic and hemorrhagic stroke. The independent variables included age, diabetes mellitus, and hypertriglyceridemia. A total of 100 samples were included in the study. The results showed that 59% of patients were in the adult group and 41% were in the elderly group. Diabetes mellitus was found in 51% of patients, and hypertriglyceridemia in 43% of patients. Bivariate analysis demonstrated a significant association between age, diabetes mellitus, and hypertriglyceridemia with stroke type. Multivariate analysis showed that age had a significant effect on stroke type, while diabetes mellitus and hypertriglyceridemia increased the risk of certain stroke types. The risk factors influencing stroke type include age, diabetes mellitus, and hypertriglyceridemia.

ABSTRAK

 

Stroke merupakan penyebab utama kematian dan kecacatan di dunia serta menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang signifikan di Indonesia. Secara klinis, stroke diklasifikasikan menjadi stroke non hemoragik dan stroke hemoragik. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis hubungan usia, diabetes melitus dan hipertrigliseridemia dengan tipe di RSUD Kota Mataram. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional menggunakan data rekam medis pasien stroke rawat inap di RSUD Kota Mataram. Variabel dependen adalah tipe stroke yang diklasifikasikan menjadi stroke non hemoragik dan stroke hemoragik. Variabel independen meliputi usia, diabetes melitus, dan hipertrigliseridemia. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 59 persen pasien berada pada kelompok dewasa dan 41 persen pada kelompok lansia. Diabetes melitus ditemukan pada 51 persen pasien dan hipertrigliseridemia pada 43 persen pasien. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan hubungan signifikan antara usia, diabetes melitus, dan hipertrigliseridemia dengan tipe stroke. Analisis multivariat menunjukkan usia berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tipe stroke, sedangkan diabetes melitus dan hipertrigliseridemia meningkatkan risiko terjadinya tipe stroke. Adapun faktor risiko yang berpengaruh terhadap tipe stroke adalah usia, diabetes melitus, dan hipertrigliseridemia.
