ABSTRACT

 

Pain management in patients undergoing cardiac catheterization is an important aspect of an invasive medical procedure that can affect the patient's recovery process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends of pain management in cardiac catheterization patients during the period 2015–2025 using bibliometric analysis. Data were collected from 764 articles identified through the Scopus database and analyzed using the VOSviewer software. The results of the analysis show a significant increase in the number of publications related to this topic, especially in 2025, reflecting an increase in interest in pain management in the context of invasive procedures. Research conducted in this period focuses on a multimodal approach that combines pharmacological and nonpharmacological techniques, as well as psychosocial factors that can affect patients' pain perception. The United States is the country with the most publications on this topic. The increase in the number of publications by 2025 reflects the growing attention to this topic, as conclusion with psychosocial factors and patient education also recognized as important elements. to improve pain management in clinical practice.

ABSTRAK

 

Manajemen nyeri pada pasien yang menjalani kateterisasi jantung merupakan aspek penting dalam prosedur medis invasif yang dapat memengaruhi proses pemulihan pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tren penelitian manajemen nyeri pada pasien kateterisasi jantung selama periode 2015–2025 dengan menggunakan analisis bibliometrik. Data dikumpulkan dari 764 artikel yang teridentifikasi melalui database Scopus dan dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSviewer. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam jumlah publikasi terkait topik ini, terutama pada tahun 2025, yang mencerminkan peningkatan minat terhadap manajemen nyeri dalam konteks prosedur invasif. Penelitian yang dilakukan pada periode ini berfokus pada pendekatan multimodal yang menggabungkan teknik farmakologis dan nonfarmakologis, serta faktor psikososial yang dapat memengaruhi persepsi nyeri pasien. Amerika Serikat menjadi negara dengan publikasi terbanyak terkait topik ini. Peningkatan jumlah publikasi pada tahun 2025 mencerminkan perhatian yang meningkat terhadap topik ini, sebagai kesimpulan bahwa dengan faktor psikososial dan edukasi pasien yang juga diakui sebagai elemen penting. untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan nyeri dalam praktik klinis.
