Pelatihan Kelompok Ibu Rumah Tangga dalam Pencegahan Ispa pada Anak dengan Menggunakan Terapi Komplementer

ABSTRACT

 

The school age period is a critical period, because at this time infectious diseases often occur in children. The incidence of infectious diseases in children is increasing and has an impact on children's physical growth and development. Mothers are the main actors in implementing child and family health care in efforts to prevent infectious diseases in children. ISPA is a disease that we often encounter in children. Respiratory disorders suffered cause children to tend to be lethargic, fussy, and have a lack of appetite, thereby reducing the child's immunity which affects other health problems. The use of complementary therapy is very beneficial for families, especially for reducing the impact of ARI on children and can be applied as an independent alternative therapy treatment for families. This study aims to provide training to a group of housewives in the prevention of respiratory infections by using complementary therapies for children. The data search method used in this systematic review uses four main databases, namely Google Search, Google Scholar, Science Direct, and PubMed with journal searches from 2019 to 2023. Analysis of 10 articles shows that the use of complementary therapies can help to reduce the impact of disease incidence, especially ARI in children. Based on the literature review cited, it can be concluded that the role of the mother's group in efforts to prevent ARI in children using complementary therapies gives very good results and increases the skills of mothers and knows the role of the mother's group through health education, herbal therapy training to treat ARI in children.

ABSTRAK

 

Masa usia sekolah merupakan masa kritis, dikarenakan pada masa ini sering terjadi penyakit menular pada anak. Angka kejadian penyakit menular pada anak semakin meningkat  dan  berdampak terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan fisik anak. Ibu adalah pelaku utama dalam penerapan pemeliharaan kesehatan anak dan keluarga dalam upaya pencegahan penyakit menular pada anak. ISPA  merupakan penyakit yang sering kita temui pada anak. Gangguan pernafasan yang diderita menyebabkan anak cenderung menjadi lesu, rewel, dan kurang nafsu makan sehingga menurunkan imun anak yang berpengaruh pada masalah kesehatan lainnya. Penggunaan terapi komplementer  sangat bermamfaat bagi keluarga khususnya untuk mengurangi dampak kejadian penyakit ISPA pada anak dan dapat diterapkan sebagai pengobatan terapi alternatif mandiri untuk keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan pada kelompok ibu rumah tangga dalam pencegahan ispa dengan menggunakan terapi komplementer pada anak. Metode pencarian data yang digunakan dalam tinjauan sistematis ini menggunakan empat database utama yaitu google search, google scholar, Science Direct, dan PubMed dengan pencarian jurnal dari tahun 2019 sampai 2023. Analisis dari 10 artikel  menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan terapi komplementer dapat membantu untuk mengurangi dampak kejadian penyakit khususnya ISPA pada anak. Berdasarkan kajian pustaka yang disitasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa Peran kelompok Ibu dalam upaya pencegahan ISPA pada anak menggunakan terapi komplementer memberikan hasil yang sangat bagus dan meningkatkan keterampilan ibu serta mengetahui peran pada kelompok ibu melalui pendidikan kesehatan, pelatihan terapi herbal untuk mengatasi ISPA pada anak.
