Optimasi Konsentrasi Trietanolamin terhadap Stabilitas Fisikokimia dan Aktivitas Antioksidan Krim Body Scrub Berbasis Ekstrak Kelapa Gading (Cocos nucifera L.)

Kulit merupakan organ terluar tubuh yang berfungsi sebagai pelindung terhadap berbagai faktor eksternal, termasuk paparan radikal bebas dan sinar ultraviolet (UV) yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan oksidatif. Penggunaan sediaan topikal yang mengandung antioksidan menjadi salah satu upaya untuk menangkal efek radikal bebas tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memformulasikan ekstrak kelapa gading dalam bentuk krim body scrub serta mengevaluasi karakteristik fisik dan aktivitas antioksidannya. Aktivitas antioksidan diuji menggunakan metode DPPH (2,2-difenil-1-pikrilhidrazil), sedangkan evaluasi fisik meliputi uji organoleptis, homogenitas, pH, daya sebar, daya lekat, dan uji kesukaan.Krim body scrub diformulasikan dengan variasi konsentrasi trietanolamin 0% (F0), 1% (F1), 2% (F2), dan 3% (F3), dengan penambahan ekstrak kelapa gading sebanyak 15 g pada setiap formulasi. Hasil evaluasi fisik menunjukkan seluruh formula homogen dan memiliki karakteristik organoleptis yang sesuai. Nilai pH berturut-turut untuk F0, F1, F2, dan F3 adalah 4,96; 5,10; 5,69; dan 5,85, yang masih berada dalam rentang pH kulit. Daya sebar dan daya lekat menunjukkan peningkatan seiring bertambahnya konsentrasi trietanolamin, dengan F3 memberikan daya sebar dan daya lekat tertinggi. Uji kesukaan menunjukkan bahwa F3 paling disukai oleh responden.Hasil uji aktivitas antioksidan menunjukkan nilai IC₅₀ sebesar 11,12 µg/mL (F1), 12,56 µg/mL (F2), dan 13,53 µg/mL (F3). Berdasarkan nilai IC₅₀ tersebut, F1 memiliki aktivitas antioksidan paling kuat dibandingkan formula lainnya, meskipun terdapat penurunan persentase inhibisi pada peningkatan konsentrasi uji. Secara keseluruhan, krim body scrub ekstrak kelapa gading memenuhi persyaratan evaluasi fisik dan menunjukkan adanya aktivitas antioksidan.
