DAMPAK KONSELING FARMASIS TERHADAP LUARAN TERAPI PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS : TINJAUAN LITERATUR

Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang prevalensinya terus meningkat secara signifikan. Komorbiditas pada pasien DM meningkatkan risiko polifarmasi dan Masalah Terkait Obat (MTO). Intervensi farmasis berperan penting untuk mengoptimalkan luaran terapi. Tinjauan ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis intervensi farmasis terkini pada pasien DM serta mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap berbagai luaran terapi. Penelusuran literatur dilakukan pada basis data Sciencedirect, SAGE, dan Cochrane menggunakan pendekatan PICO. Artikel yang disertakan adalah riset original berbahasa inggris yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 2021–2025, dengan desain uji klinis acak atau kuantitatif prospektif. Sebanyak 10 artikel diikutsertakan dalam tinjauan ini. Jenis intervensi farmasis yang ditemukan meliputi konseling tatap muka, booklet, video edukatif, maupun pendekatan multifaktorial dan pendekatan kelompok, menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kepatuhan pengobatan pasien, penurunan kadar HbA1c, glukosa darah puasa, serta perbaikan parameter lipid. Aspek psikososial seperti persepsi pasien dan kepuasan terhadap layanan juga menunjukkan peningkatan. Intervensi farmasis memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pengelolaan DM secara klinis dan holistik. Penyesuaian intervensi berdasarkan kebutuhan individu serta integrasi media edukasi yang adaptif perlu dipertimbangkan dalam pengembangan strategi manajemen diabetes yang lebih efektif dan berbasis bukti.
