HUBUNGAN KADAR NITRIC OXIDE (NO) TERHADAP BERAT BADAN LAHIR TIKUS WISTAR OBESITAS HAMIL

Wanita hamil yang memiliki berat badan berlebih atau obesitas mengalami perubahan produksi nitric oxide namun tidak memiliki hubungan dengan berat badan lahir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar nitric oxide dengan berat badan lahir tikus wistar obesitas hamil. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 12 ekor tikus wistar dipilih dengan tekhnik non-propability sampling. Penelitian ini dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok ( kelompok kontrol (non obesitas) dan kelompok obesitas). Kelompok kontrol diberikan pakan standar AD-2 sebanyak 15 g perhari selama 150 hari. Sedangkan kelompok perlakuan diberikan pakan tinggi lemak dan tinggi karbohidrat yaitu pakan CP-551 sebanyak 20 g/hari dan susu bubuk instant sebanyak 9 g/hari yang dilarutkan ke dalam 50 cc air hangat selama 150 hari. Pemeriksaan secara berkala pada berat badan dan panjang tikus dilakukan untuk menghitung indeks obesitas. Pemeriksaan kadar NO menggunakan microplate reader ( Elisa reader) pada panjang gelombang 450 nm. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan perbedaan yang bermakna antara kadar nitric oxide (NO), pada kelompok obesitas terlihat rendah dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol yaitu kadar NO sebesar 51.393 dengan nilai IK 95% antara 28.395 sampai 74.391 dengan nilai p 0.001 (<0.05). Namun disimpulkan tidak terdapat hubungan kadar nitric oxide dengan berat badan lahir tikus obesitas dengan nilai p 0.960 (>0.05).
