REKONSTRUKSI DEFEK PASCAEKSISI LUAS BASALIOMA REGIO FRONTALIS DENGAN WORTHEN FLAP : LAPORAN KASUS

Basalioma merupakan kanker kulit nonmelanositik yang muncul dari sel basal. Sekitar 85% basalioma terjadi di wajah, kepala, dan leher. Tujuan pengobatan basalioma adalah menghilangkan tumor dengan mempertahankan fungsi dan penampilan fisik secara maksimal. Rotasi sederhana pada sisa kulit regio frontalis sebagai flap, atau yang biasa dikenal sebagai Worthen flap, dapat menutup defek yang luas dengan hasil kosmetik yang baik. Seorang petani perempuan berusia 64 tahun dari Bengkulu dengan basalioma di regio frontalis sinistra tipe nodular dilakukan eksisi tumor dan rekonstruksi defek menggunakan metode Worthen flap. Terapi eksisi dipilih karena dapat dilakukan pemeriksaan histopatologi, waktu penyembuhan lebih cepat, dan hasil kosmetik lebih baik. Worthen flap dipilih karena dapat menutup defek yang luas dengan efektif dan menghasilkan kosmetik yang sangat baik.
