Herbal Untuk Kebugaran Tubuh Kajian Kandungan Dan Mekanisme Kerjanya : Tinjauan Literatur

Herbal adalah tanaman yang memiliki senyawa yang bermanfaat bagi tubuh manusia, terutama pada olahraga dan kebugaran tubuh. Kebugaran ialah kemampuan tubuh dalam melakukan aktivitas tanpa kelelahan berlebihan dan masih memiliki energi untuk aktivitas lainnya. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi antara lain genetik, jenis kelamin, usia, latihan, komposisi lemak, dan merokok. Tinjauan sistematis ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji herbal yang dapat meningkatkan kebugaran tubuh, kandungan yang dimiliki, dan cara kerjanya, terutama untuk atlet olahraga. Tinjauan sistematis menggunakan metode systematic review. Pengambilan data melalui Scopus, Pubmed, ScienceDirect dan Google Schoolar, dengan rentang waktu antara 2019 – 2024. Penyaringan sesuai kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, dilanjutkan menilai tingkat resiko biasnya. Kandungan herbal (kafein, gingseng, jambu, cabai, dan ashwagandha) dapat meningkatkan kebugaran tubuh dikalangan atlet olahraga. Efek yang dimiliki antara lain: antioksidan, anti-inflamasi, vasodilatasi pembuluh darah, meningkatkan kinerja aerobic, ventilasi paru, pertumbuhan, kekuatan otot, daya tahan, dan penyembuhan cedera otot. Herbal memiliki manfaat yang baik untuk meningkatkan kebugaran dan kinerja tubuh pada atlet olahraga.
