Hubungan Antara Perilaku Merokok Dengan Hernia Nukleus Pulposus (HNP) Pada Pasien Low Back Pain (LBP) Di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung

Low back pain (LBP) ialah salah satu gangguan kesehatan umum pada masyarakat. Hernia nukleus pulposus (HNP) ialah salah satu penyebab utamanya, yaitu gangguan yang dapat menghambat kegiatan. Salah satu faktor risiko HNP ialah kebiasaan merokok. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kebiasaan merokok dengan kejadian hernia nukleus pulposus (HNP) pada pasien low back pain (LBP) di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Abdul Moeloek, Provinsi Lampung, selama Februari hingga Maret 2025. Studi ini memakai metode analitik dan pendekatan case control. Sampel yang diteliti sejumlah 72 orang, yang dikelompokkan menjadi 36 orang kelompok kasus dan 36 orang kelompok kontrol. Hasil menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara perilaku merokok dengan kejadian hernia nukleus pulposus pada pasien low back pain (LBP) di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung Februari-Maret tahun 2025 (p=0,458;OR= 1,45) tetapi perilaku merokok tetap menjadi faktor resiko terhadap hernia nukleus pulposus (HNP).
