Efektifitas Metode Sitz Bath dengan Rebusan Daun Belimbing Wuluh Terhadap Penurunan Nyeri Luka Perineum Pada Ibu Post Partum di PMB Mila Karmila di Kelurahan Kamal Kecamatan Kalideres Jakarta Barat

ABSTRACT

Mothers who give birth with normal births are not only happy but also cause pain for those who experience perineal injuries. PMB Mila Karmila in the Kamal sub-district, Kalideres District, West Jakarta, in 2021 it was found that 50.6% had grade I and II perineal tears, while in 2022 it was found that 53.3% had grade I and II perineal tears. One solution for postpartum mothers to reduce perineal wound pain is by administering the sitz bath method using boiled water from starfruit leaves. To determine the effectiveness of the sitz bath method with a decoction of starfruit leaves to reduce perineal wound pain in post partum mothers at PMB Mila Karmila in Kamal sub-district, Kalideres sub-district, West Jakarta. Pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample was postpartum mothers who experienced perineal rupture in April-May 2023 as many as 30 samples using a purposive sampling technique. The intervention was given for 10-15 minutes 3 times a day for 7 days. Bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test. The average perineal wound pain before administering the sitz bath method with bilimbi leaves decoction was 4.50 and the average perineal wound pain after was 1.73. The Wilcoxon test results obtained a p value = 0.000. There is an effectiveness of the sitz bath method with a decoction of starfruit leaves to reduce perineal wound pain in post partum mothers. Postpartum mothers should plant these plants in their yards because they can be used as medicinal ingredients that are safe, easy and do not require high costs.

ABSTRAK

Ibu melahirkan dengan persalinan normal selain membahagiakan akan tetapi juga menimbulkan rasa nyeri bagi yang mengalami luka perineum. PMB Mila Karmila di kelurahan Kamal Kecamatan Kalideres Jakarta Barat tahun 2021 ditemukan 50,6% mengalami robekan perineum grade I dan II sedangkan tahun 2022 ditemukan 53,3% mengalami robekan perineum grade I dan II. Salah satu solusi bagi ibu postpartum untuk negurangi nyeri luka perineum yaitu dengan pemberian metode sitz bath menggunakan air rebusan daun belimbing wuluh. Mengetahui efektifitas metode sitz bath dengan rebusan daun belimbing wuluh terhadap penurunan nyeri luka perineum pada ibu post partum di PMB Mila Karmila di kelurahan Kamal Kecamatan Kalideres Jakarta Barat. Pre-eksperimental desain dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest. Sampel adalah ibu postpartum yang mengalami ruptur perineum pada bulan April-Mei tahun 2023 sebanyak 30 sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling. Intervensi diberikan selama 10-15 menit dilakukan 3 kali dalam sehari selama 7 hari. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian rata-rata nyeri luka perineum sebelum pemberian metode sitz bath dengan rebusan daun belimbing wuluh 4,50 dan rata-rata nyeri luka perineum sesudah 1,73. Hasil uji Wilcoxon didapatkan nilai p value = 0,000. Terdapat efektifitas metode sitz bath dengan rebusan daun belimbing wuluh terhadap penurunan nyeri luka perineum pada ibu post partum. Ibu postpartum sebaiknya menanam tanaman tersebut di pekarangan karena dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pengobatan yang aman, mudah dan tidak memerlukan biaya yang mahal.
