ABSTRACT
Leucorrhoea is a complaint that is often experienced by almost all women of reproductive age and is usually common. During pregnancy, vaginal secretions increase and many pregnant women experience vaginal discharge problems due to fungal infections and bacterial infections. Vaginal discharge that occurs during pregnancy is a health problem that needs attention, this is because vaginal discharge can have an impact on the mother and fetus. This study aims to determine the correlation between personal hygiene behavior and the incidence of flour albus in pregnant women. This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design. The population in this study was all pregnant women who underwent pregnancy checks at the Saumlaki Community Health Center, totaling 70 people and the sample used was total sampling. Data analysis techniques using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. Bivariate data analysis using chi square test and multivariate analysis with logistic regression prediction model. The results showed that higher education had a lower effect of 7.7 times the occurrence of leucorrhoea and mothers who had good knowledge had a 6.2 times lower risk of vaginal discharge than those who had less knowledge, and mothers who had good personal hygiene the incidence of vaginal discharge was 15 times lower (reduced) than those who have less personal, with the most dominant variable, namely personal hygiene. There is a correlation between personal hygiene behavior and the incidence of fluor albus in pregnant women at the Saumlaki Health Center, Tanimbar Islands District.
