Gambaran Kualitas Tidur Pada Wanita dengan Kanker Payudara dan Kanker Servik yang Menjalani Kemoterapi

ABSTRACT
Breast cancer and cervical cancer are the most common cause for death in women. The prevalence of breast and cervical cancer are increasing every year. Chemoterapy is usual treatment for cancer which can affect sleep quality. Quality of sleep is important to identify where can impact patient’s quality of life. The purpose of this study was to determine prevalence of poor sleep quality and the domains that contribute to it. This study used quantitative descriptive approach with 80 breast and cervical cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Pitssburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) was used to measured the quality of sleep, a score of >5 indicates poor sleep quality. The data was analyze using univariate analysis. Most of the respondent (70%) have poor sleep quality. In the sleep quality domain, the most complaining problem were sleep disturbance (51.2%) and sleep latency (46.2%). Poor sleep quality is a significant problem experienced by patient breast and cervical cancer undergoing chemotherapy. The quality of sleep must be regularly assesed in order to provide appropriate interventions and treatments.

ABSTRAK
Kanker payudara dan kanker servik merupakan jenis kanker yang menjadi penyebab utama kematian dalam kasus kanker dengan jumlah penderita yang meningkat setiap tahunnya. Kemoterapi menjadi salah satu terapi bagi pasien kanker yang menimbulkan efek samping penurunan kualitas tidur. Kualitas tidur penting untuk diidenfifikasi karena memilik peran penting dalam kualitas hidup pasien. Mengetahui prevalensi gangguan tidur dan domain yang berperan dalam penurunan kualitas tidur. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif pada 80 pasien kanker payudara dan kanker servik yang menjalani kemoterapi. Kualitas tidur diukur dengan kuesioner Pitssburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) dengan skor >5 menunjukan kualitas tidur yang buruk. Data dianalisis teknik analisa data univariate untuk variable yang diteliti. Sebanyak 70% responden melaporkan kualitas tidur yang buruk. Pada domain kualitas tidur responden melaporkan kualitas yang buruk pada gangguan tidur malam (51.2%) dan kesulitan memulai tidur atau latensi tidur (46.2%). Penurunan kualitas tidur merupakan permasalahan yang signifikan dialami oleh pasien kanker payudara dan kanker servik yang menjalani kemoterapi. Kesulitan tidur yang dialami sebaiknya dikaji secara rutin sehingga intervensi dan treatment yang sesuai dapat diberikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas tidurnya
