ABSTRACT

Breast cancer is a pathological condition where uncontrolled development of cells occurs within the breast tissue, either in one or both breasts. Invasive breast cancer refers to breast cancer where abnormal cells from the lobules or milk ducts spread to the surrounding breast tissue. Invasive breast cancer that spreads to other organs of the body is also referred to as metastatic breast cancer. To determine the clinicopathologic characteristics of invasive ductal carcinoma in North Maluku. This study is a descriptive study using a cross-sectional design with a retrospective approach from Dr. H. Chasan Boesoirie Ternate Hospital and RSI PKU Muhammadiyah North Maluku using secondary data from medical records in 2018-2023 that meet the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. Data obtained from 164 samples, the majority of patients were 45-59 years old (47%), female (100%), stage IIIB (97%), had right lateralization (RSBC) (55.5%), and mostly grade 2 (46.3%). Invasive ductal carcinoma patients in North Maluku were most commonly diagnosed at the age of 45-59 years, female, stage IIIB, right lateralization (RSBC), and grade 2.

ABSTRAK

Kanker payudara adalah suatu kondisi patologis dimana perkembangan sel-sel yang tidak terkendali terjadi di dalam jaringan payudara, baik pada satu atau kedua payudara. Kanker payudara invasif merujuk pada kanker payudara dimana sel-sel abnormal dari lobulus atau saluran susu menyebar ke jaringan payudara sekitarnya. Kanker payudara invasif yang menyebar ke organ tubuh lainnya juga disebut sebagai kanker payudara metastasis. Untuk mengetahui karakteristik klinikopatologi karsinoma duktal invasif di Maluku Utara. Penelitian ini adalah studi deskriptif, menggunakan desain cross-sectional, dengan pendekatan retrospektif dari RSUD Dr. H. Chasan Boesoirie Ternate dan RSI PKU Muhammadiyah Maluku Utara dengan menggunakan data sekunder rekam medik tahun 2018-2023 yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Berdasarkan dari sampel yang diperoleh dari 164 sampel, mayoritas pasienberusia 45-59 tahun (47%), berjenis kelamin perempuan (100%), stadium IIIB (97%), mengalami lateralisasi kanan (RSBC) (55,5%), dan sebagian besar grade 2 (46,3%). Pasien karsinoma duktal invasif di Maluku Utara paling sering terdiagnosis di rentang usia 45-59 tahun, dengan jenis kelamin wanita, stadium IIIB, lateralisasi tumor ke kanan (RSBC), dan berada pada grade 2.
