ABSTRACT

The risk of suicide is a situation where someone intentionally harms themselves with the aim of ending their life. To reduce this behavior, it is necessary to carry out prevention, namely by implementing Dialectical Behavior Therapy or DBT. This is a psychotherapeutic intervention that helps clients regulate their negative emotions, accept themselves now, and change negative behavior or habits that clients are currently carrying out into more positive behavior. This study aims to determine the effect of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) on the risk of suicide. The research method used was a literature review with the PICO approach (Population: adolescents at risk of suicide, Intervention: dialectical behavior therapy, Comparison: -, and Outcome: level of suicidal behavior). Articles were searched using Google Scholar, PubMed, and Scopus, and after selection using inclusion and exclusion criteria, 10 articles were reviewed. Show that DBT can be used as an intervention to treat patients at high risk of suicide. Based on the journals that have been reviewed, it shows that the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) intervention provides an overview of proven effectiveness in preventing the risk of suicidal behavior.

ABSTRAK

Resiko bunuh diri merupakan keadaan dimana seseorang dengan sengaja melukai diri sendiri dengan tujuan untuk mengakhiri kehidupan. Untuk mengurangi perilaku tersebut perlu dilakukan suatu pencegahan yaitu dengan menerapkan Dialectical Behavior Therapy atau DBT ini merupakan intervensi psikoteraupetik yang membantu klien dalam mengatur emosi negatifnya, menerima dirinya sekarang, dan mengubah perilaku atau kebiasaan negatif yang dilakukan klien sekarang ke perilaku yang lebih positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) terhadap risiko bunuh diri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah literature review dengan pendekatan PICO (Population: remaja dengan resiko bunuh diri, Intervention: dialectical behaviour therapy, Comparison: -, dan Outcome: tingkat perilaku bunuh diri). Pencarian artikel menggunakan Google Scholar, PubMed, dan Scopus, dan setelah diseleksi menggunakan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi didapatkan 10 artikel yang  direview. Menunjukkan DBT dapat digunakan sebagai intervensi untuk menangani pasien resiko bunuh diri yang tinggi. Berdasarkan jurnal yang telah direview menunjukkan bahwa intervensi Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) ini memberikan gambaran terbukti efektif dalam pencegahan mengatasi resiko perilaku bunuh diri.
