Edukasi Bahaya Nomophobia pada Remaja dalam Kehidupan Sehari-Hari di Kwarasan Karanganyar

ABSTRACT
Using smartphones as a learning medium without restrictions on usage can make students more flexible in their use. In pandemic conditions, many activities are carried out via smartphones, which without limits can cause disturbances in users, known as nomophobia or fear that arises because they cannot be away from smartphones. The public needs to know the dangers of nomophobia, so education needs to be provided regarding nomophobia. As an effort to increase knowledge about nomophobia. This community service method uses the lecture and leaflet media. This community service was carried out in the community in May-June 2023. The pretest results showed that the majority of participants had a low level of knowledge, 30 (55.6%) while the posttest results showed that the majority of participants had a medium level of knowledge, 32 (59.3%). There is an increase in the level of knowledge after socialization.

ABSTRAK
Penggunaan smartphone sebagai alat belajar tanpa batasan penggunaan dapat membuat siswa lebih leluasa dalam penggunaannya. Dalam kondisi pandemi, banyak aktivitas yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan smartphone sehingga dapat menimbulkan ketidak terkendalian atau nomophobia pada penggunanya, atau rasa takut yang muncul karena tidak bisa jauh dari smartphone-nya. Masyarakat perlu mengetahui bahaya nomophobia, sehingga edukasi nomophobia harus diberikan. Sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang nomophobia. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan media leaflet. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada komunitas Mei-Juni 2023. Hasil pretest didapatkan mayoritas peserta memiliki tingkat pengetahuan rendah sebanyak 30 (55,6%) sedangkan hasil posttest didapatkan mayoritas peserta memiliki tingkat pengetahuan sedang 32 (59,3%). Terdapat adanya peningkatan tingkat pengetahuan setelah dilakukan sosialisasi.
