Hubungan Mental Health dengan Perilaku Merokok pada Remaja: Tinjauan Sistematis Literatur

ABSTRACT

 

Smoking remains one of the health behavior issues among the community. The trend of considering smoking as cool and a symbol of maturity encourages teenagers who are searching for their identity and social acceptance to start smoking. This literature review aims to identify the relationship between mental health and smoking behavior in adolescents. This study uses a literature review method with a descriptive approach. The databases used include PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and EBSCO, with articles published between 2021 and 2025. The article selection process was conducted by reviewing duplications, title suitability, abstracts, and inclusion and exclusion criteria. A total of 4 articles were included in this review. The results of the study indicate that mental health is significantly related to smoking behavior among adolescents.

ABSTRAK

 

Merokok masih menjadi salah satu permasalahan perilaku kesehatan di kalangan masyarakat. Tren yang menganggap merokok sebagai hal keren dan simbol kedewasaan mendorong remaja yang sedang mencari jati diri dan penerimaan sosial untuk mulai merokok. Kajian literatur ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan mental health dengan perilaku merokok pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Database yang digunakan meliputi PubMed, ScienceDirect, GoogleScholar dan EBSCO, dengan publikasi artikel antara tahun 2021-2025. Proses seleksi artikel dilakukan dengan meninjau duplikasi, kesesuaian judul, abstrak, serta kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Sebanyak 4 artikel diikutsertakan dalam tinjauan ini. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kesehatan mental berhubungan signifikan dengan perilaku merokok pada remaja.
