ABSTRACT

 

Emergency care requires effective interprofessional collaboration to ensure patient safety. Team relationships are important components that support communication, trust, and coordination among healthcare professionals. This study aimed to describe nurses’ perceptions of team relationships in interprofessional collaborative practice in emergency care.
This study employed a quantitative descriptive design conducted in emergency departments of hospitals and community health centers in the coastal region of Pangandaran Regency. A total of 93 nurses were selected using total sampling. Data were collected using the Collaborative Practice Assessment Tool (CPAT) and analyzed descriptively using mean and standard deviation.
Nurses’ perceptions of team relationships were categorized as high, with the team relationship domain having the highest mean score compared to other domains. These findings indicate that communication, mutual respect, and trust among healthcare professionals have been well established in emergency care settings. Strengthening team relationships is important to support effective interprofessional collaborative practice and improve patient safety in emergency care.

ABSTRAK

 

Pelayanan gawat darurat membutuhkan kolaborasi interprofesional yang efektif untuk menjamin keselamatan pasien. Hubungan antar anggota tim menjadi salah satu komponen penting dalam praktik kolaboratif interprofesional karena mendukung komunikasi, koordinasi, dan kepercayaan antar tenaga kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan persepsi perawat terhadap hubungan antar anggota tim dalam praktik kolaboratif interprofesional pada pelayanan gawat darurat. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif yang dilakukan di instalasi gawat darurat rumah sakit dan puskesmas wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Pangandaran. Sebanyak 93 perawat dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan Collaborative Practice Assessment Tool (CPAT) dan dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan mean dan standar deviasi. Persepsi perawat terhadap hubungan antar anggota tim berada pada kategori tinggi dengan domain hubungan antar anggota tim memiliki nilai mean tertinggi dibandingkan domain lainnya. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi, saling menghormati, dan kepercayaan antar tenaga kesehatan telah berjalan dengan baik dalam pelayanan gawat darurat.Penguatan hubungan antar anggota tim penting untuk mendukung efektivitas praktik kolaboratif interprofesional dan meningkatkan keselamatan pasien pada pelayanan gawat darurat.
