Hubungan Riwayat Konsumsi Alkohol Dengan Perilaku Seksual Pranikah Pada Remaja Pria Di Indonesia

ABSTRACT

 

Premarital sexual behavior in adolescents is socially problematic in society because it is against morals and increases reproductive health risks such as unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections. This study aims to analyze the relationship between a history of alcohol consumption and premarital sexual behavior in male adolescents in Indonesia. The design of this research is cross sectional using secondary data from the 2017 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS). Respondents in this study were 9,929 male adolescents aged 15-24 years. The data were processed using the chi-square test and multiple logistic regressions. The results showed 11.2% of male adolescents had premarital sex and 41.9% of male adolescents had a history of consuming alcohol. Male adolescents who have a history of consuming alcohol are at risk of having premarital sex (OR = 7.84 95% CI = 6.51-9.45) after controlling for age and having friends who have had sex before marriage.  There is a significant relationship between the history of alcohol consumption and premarital sexual behavior in male adolescents. It needs cooperation from various parties such as families, educational institutions, and health workers to provide education and supervise adolescents so that premarital sexual behavior and alcohol consumption in adolescents can be prevented.

ABSTRAK

 

Perilaku seksual pranikah pada remaja secara sosial bermasalah di kalangan masyarakat karena bertentangan dengan moral serta meningkatkan risiko kesehatan reproduksi seperti kehamilan yang tidak diinginkan dan infeksi menular seksual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara riwayat konsumsi alkohol dengan perilaku seksual pranikah pada remaja laki-laki di Indonesia. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross sectional dengan menggunakan data sekunder Survei Demografi dan Kesehatan Indonesia (SDKI) tahun 2017. Jumlah responden penelitian ini sebanyak 9.929 remaja pria usia 15-24 tahun. Data diolah menggunakan uji kai kuadrat dan regresi logistik ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 11,2% remaja pria pernah melakukan hubungan seks pranikah dan 41,9% remaja pria memiliki riwayat pernah mengonsumsi alkohol. Remaja pria yang mempunyai riwayat mengonsumsi alkohol berisiko melakukan hubungan seksual pranikah (OR = 7,84 95% CI = 6,51-9,45) setelah dikontrol faktor umur dan memiliki teman yang juga pernah melakukan hubungan seks sebelum menikah. Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara riwayat konsumsi alkohol dan perilaku seksual pranikah pada remaja pria. Perlu kerjasama dari berbagai pihak seperti keluarga, institusi pendidikan, serta tenaga kesehatan untuk memberikan edukasi serta melakukan pengawasan pada remaja sehingga perilaku seksual pranikah dan konsumsi alkohol pada remaja dapat dicegah.
