Hubungan Riwayat Gestasi dan Nutrisi Bayi 6 Bulan Pertama dengan Waktu Erupsi Gigi Primer Anak

ABSTRACT

 

Tooth eruption is an important part for supporting good growth and development in children. Tooth eruption is the movement of tooth germ from its non-functional to functional position in the oral cavity. Good teeth eruption in children often associated with the nutritional intake received by children is also good. This study was conducted to examine whether there was a history of the habits at mother while pregnant, the history of the birth of a child, as well as factors for providing nutrition to infant that could have an impact on the time of child’s primary teeth eruption. This research was conducted with a cross sectional analytic study, aimed mothers who had children and the followers of Mommiesharing account on Instagram, with a technique using simple random sampling. Retrieval of research data was taken by filling out an online questionnaire form regarding the identity of the respondent, history of pregnancy, childbirth, infant nutrition, and child teething. Furthermore, the research data is processed using a statistical application called IBM SPSS Statistics 26. This study examined 128 respondents, with the average age of respondents at their last pregnancy was 27.6 years. As many as 89.1% of respondents had a history of birth with an aterm gestational age. None of the respondents consuming alcohol during pregnancy, and the majority of respondents consumed folic acid, Vitamin D, and blood-supplementing tablets during their pregnancy. Most of the respondents gave birth to children with normal birth weight (≥2500 grams), and for children aged 0-6 months, 78.9% of respondents provided nutrition in the form of exclusive breastfeeding. There was no statistically significant relationship between pregnancy history and first 6 months infant nutrition with time of children’s primary teeth eruption, except for the gestational age with p-value = 0.038.

ABSTRAK

 

Erupsi gigi merupakan bagian penting untuk mendukung tumbuh kembang yang baik pada seorang anak. Erupsi gigi adalah pergerakan benih gigi dari posisi non-fungsional ke posisi fungsionalnya di rongga mulut. Erupsi gigi yang baik pada seorang anak sering dikaitkan sebagai salah satu pertanda bahwa baik dan terpenuhinya juga asupan gizi yang diterima oleh anak tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat adakah faktor riwayat kebiasaan serta nutrisi saat ibu sedang hamil, faktor riwayat kelahiran anak, serta faktor pemberian nutrisi pada anak yang dapat berdampak pada waktu erupsi gigi primer anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan studi analitik cross sectional, ditujukan untuk ibu yang sudah memiliki anak pada pengikut akun Mommiesharing di Instagram, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling. Pengambilan data penelitian diambil menggunakan pengisian formulir kuesioner online mengenai identitas responden, riwayat kehamilan, riwayat kelahiran anak, riwayat pemberian nutrisi anak, dan riwayat tumbuh gigi anak. Selanjutnya data hasil penelitian tersebut diproses menggunakan aplikasi perhitungan statistika bernama IBM SPSS Statistic versi 26. Penelitian ini meneliti 128 responden, dengan usia rerata responden saat terakhir mengandung yatu 27,6 tahun. Sebanyak 89,1% responden memiliki riwayat melahirkan dengan usia gestasi yang cukup bulan atau aterm. Tidak ada responden yang memiliki riwayat mengonsumsi alcohol saat hamil, dan mayoritas responden mengonsumsi asam folat, Vitamin D, dan tablet tambah darah selama kehamilannya. Sebagian besar responden melahirkan anak dengan berat badan lahir normal (≥2500 gram), dan selama anak berusia 0 – 6 bulan, 78,9% responden memberikan nutrisi berupa ASI eksklusif. Tidak didapatkan hubungan yang bermakna secara statistik antara riwayat kehamilan dan nutrisi bayi selama 6 bulan pertama dengan usia erupsi gigi primer anak, kecuali hubungannya dengan usia gestasi dengan nilai p – value = 0,038.
