PERAN LASER AKUPUNKTUR PADA SEORANG PASIEN ANAK DENGAN KANDUNG KEMIH OVERAKTIF : STUDI KASUS

Abstract


Abstrak: Peran Laser Akupunktur Pada Seorang Pasien Anak Dengan Kandung Kemih Overaktif: Studi Kasus. Kandung kemih overaktif (OAB) pada anak merupakan gangguan fungsi saluran kemih bagian bawah dengan perkiraan prevalensi 5-12% di seluruh dunia. Penatalaksanaan konservatif kurang mampu memberikan hasil yang memuaskan dan pengobatan pada anak masih terbatas dan sering menimbulkan efek samping yang merugikan. Berbagai modalitas akupunktur telah terbukti memperbaiki OAB pada orang dewasa, namun belum ada penelitian untuk anak-anak. Seorang anak perempuan berusia 13 tahun dirawat di rumah sakit dengan keluhan nyeri intermiten pada kedua sisi perut bagian bawah selama 2 tahun terakhir dan mengompol minimal 5 kali sehari. Skor gejala OAB (OABSS) pasien adalah 14 dan Skala Analog Visual (VAS) adalah 3. Diagnosis utama pasien adalah OAB basah. Terapi laser akupunktur dilakukan di titik LI4, ST36, SP6, dan KI3 secara bilateral. Sesi akupunktur dilakukan 3 kali seminggu, dengan total 6 sesi. Setelah sesi ketiga, gejala ngompol sudah berhenti, VAS sesudah terapi 1/10 dan OABSS 10. Setelah sesi kelima VAS sesudah terapi 0/10. Setelah sesi keenam, rasa sakitnya sudah tidak ada, skor OABSS 6. Hasil pada studi ini adalah pada satu kasus pasien anak dengan OAB, laser akupunktur dapat memberikan hasil terapi yang baik dalam meredakan gejala OAB dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien.
