Efek Konsumsi Buah Tin (Ficus carica L.) Terhadap Sistem Pencernaan: Studi Pada Masyarakat Perkotaan

Abstract


Buah tin (Ficus carica L.) secara tradisional digunakan sebagai pencahar alami dan untuk mengatasi berbagai gangguan saluran cerna seperti kolik, gangguan pencernaan, sembelit, dan hilangnya nafsu makan. Buah ini merupakan sumber yang kaya akan vitamin, mineral, karbohidrat, senyawa fenolik, serta serat pangan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buah tin memiliki berbagai khasiat biologis, seperti antikonvulsan, antialergi, antiinflamasi, antihiperglikemik, dan antikanker, serta berpotensi untuk terapi hati. Selain itu, ekstrak buah tin juga menunjukkan aktivitas antioksidan, antitumor, antivirus, antibakteri, antiikterik, dan dapat membantu penyembuhan penyakit kulit.
