Hubungan Nilai Tes Potensi Akademik dan Tes Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Dengan Performa Histologi Mahasiswa Kedokteran Tahun Pertama
Abstract
Seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa kedokteran umumnya menggunakan Tes Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) dan Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA) untuk menilai kesiapan akademik calon mahasiswa, namun hubungan kedua tes tersebut dengan performa histologi belum dipahami secara memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan dan kemampuan prediktif nilai tes IPA dan TPA terhadap performa histologi mahasiswa tahun pertama. Kami melakukan studi kohort retrospektif terhadap 71 mahasiswa angkatan 2024 di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Ciputra Surabaya, yang dipilih menggunakan total sampling, dan membandingkan nilai tes IPA serta TPA saat penerimaan dengan rerata nilai histologi pada enam blok biomedik. Korelasi Spearman dihitung dengan interval kepercayaan 95% bootstrap bias-corrected and accelerated (BCa) berdasarkan 5.000 resampling, sedangkan regresi linear menggunakan standard error heteroskedasticity-consistent tipe HC3, interval kepercayaan bootstrap, dan penyesuaian multivariabel. TPA dan IPA sama-sama berkorelasi positif dengan nilai histologi, dengan TPA sedikit lebih kuat (rs=0,482; IK 95% 0,260–0,651) dibandingkan IPA (rs=0,318; IK 95% 0,094–0,508). Namun, dalam model gabungan, hanya TPA yang tetap berhubungan independen (B=0,641; SE HC3=0,181; IK 95% 0,299–1,000; p<0,001), sedangkan IPA tidak memiliki hubungan independen (B=−0,201; SE HC3=0,180; IK 95% −0,560–0,152; p=0,268). Model tersebut menjelaskan 33,5% variasi nilai histologi (adjusted R²=0,272). Temuan ini tidak membuktikan superioritas salah satu tes dan tidak mendukung penggunaan satu jenis tes sebagai satu-satunya dasar seleksi.
