Evaluasi Media Booklet terhadap Pengetahuan Kader Kesehatan tentang Identifikasi Awal Faktor Risiko Stroke
Sari
ABSTRACT
Stroke is defined as a condition when the blood vessels in the brain are blocked or broken. Risk factors for stroke include hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, and obesity. These factors must be identified early, accurately, and. Such identification can be given through the provision of health education through the media booklet. The study aims to identify the influence of the media booklet on health framework knowledge of risk factors for stroke. A pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-post-test design is a method used in this study. In this study, the sampling technique used was purposive sampling, while the data collection used questionnaires. This study uses a paired t-test. The respondent's pre-intervention knowledge ratio was 65.80 ± 1.730, and after the intervention it was 82.93 ± 1.999. The paired t-test tests showed that there were significant differences in knowledge before and after giving health education with media booklets. The media booklet can be used as a medium for health education, targeting health cadres so that they learn about stroke risk factors.
