Realitas Virtual: Solusi Inovatif untuk Manajemen Nyeri pada Pasien Pasca -Laparotomi
Sari
ABSTRACT
Postoperative pain is a significant challenge in the care following laparoscopic procedures, which can affect the physical and psychological recovery of patients. Non-pharmacological approaches, such as virtual reality (VR) therapy, are gaining increasing attention as innovative methods for pain management. To measure the extent to which virtual reality (VR) therapy can reduce post-operative pain intensity in patients undergoing laparoscopic procedures Method: This study reviews six recent research articles that evaluate the effectiveness of VR in reducing postoperative pain in various types of laparoscopic procedures. The studies included experimental methods such as randomized controlled trials (RCT) and protocol studies with various combinations of interventions, such as VR with music therapy. The results show that VR can significantly reduce postoperative pain intensity, improve patient comfort, and enhance vital signs. In several studies, the combination of VR with additional interventions yielded more effective results compared to single therapies. Virtual reality is an effective and practical non-pharmacological method in postoperative pain management. The application of VR provides an innovative alternative that can enhance the patient experience during the postoperative recovery process.
