Tren Global dan Perkembangan Penelitian tentang Dampak Kekerasan Seksual Terhadap Praktik Keperawatan Kesehatan Mental (Depresi, Kecemasan, PTSD) pada Mahasiswa: Studi Bibliometrik
Sari
ABSTRACT
Sexual violence has emerged as a critical global concern within higher education institutions due to its profound and persistent effects on students’ mental health. Despite the rapid growth of empirical studies examining the relationship between sexual violence and psychological outcomes, the literature remains fragmented across disciplines, limiting a coherent understanding of the intellectual structure and research trajectories of this field. This study aims to systematically map the scientific landscape and evolution of research on the mental health impacts of sexual violence among university students using a bibliometric approach. A total of 571 peer-reviewed articles indexed in Scopus and published between 2015 and 2025 were analyzed. Descriptive and network-based analyses were conducted using VOSviewer to examine publication trends, conceptual structures, thematic clusters, and the temporal evolution of research foci. The results demonstrate a substantial increase in scholarly output over the past decade, with depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) consistently identified as the most prevalent psychological outcomes. Keyword co-occurrence analysis revealed five dominant thematic clusters, highlighting the interconnected roles of sexual violence, individual vulnerability, social victimization, institutional contexts of higher education, and psychological responses. These findings position sexual violence as a key determinant of students’ mental health and emphasize the need for more integrative, interdisciplinary research frameworks alongside evidence-informed and institutionally responsive campus policies.
Keywords: Sexual Violence, Mental Health, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD.
