STUDI LITERATUR: DIAGNOSIS DAN TATALAKSANA ATRESIA ESOFAGUS

Abstrak: Studi Literatur: Diagnosis Dan Tatalaksana Atresia Esofagus. Atresia esofagus (AE) merupakan kondisi langka dengan insiden 2,43 kasus per 10.000 kelahiran. Atresia esofagus (AE) adalah cacat perkembangan saluran pencernaan bagian atas berupa inkontinuitas antara esofagus bagian atas dan bawah. Adanya pelayanan intensif pada bayi dapat menekan angka kematian pada bayi dengan berat badan lahir rendah (BBLR). Namun, terdapat juga beberapa bayi dengan kelainan atresia esofagus disertai dengan kelainan kongenital penyerta sehingga memiliki harapan hidup yang rendah. Diagnosis atresia esofagus dapat ditegakkan melalui diagnosis prenatal dan juga postnatal. Diagnosis prenatal dilakukan dengan cara USG pada ibu hamil. Diagnosis postnatal pada atresia esofagus ditegakkan jika terjadi ketidakmampuan atau kesulitan NGT atau OGT melewati esofagus. Pemeriksaan lain untuk menegakkan diagnosis postnatal adalah dengan hasil endoskopi (bronkoskopi ataupun esofagoskopi) dan hasil patologis. Tatalaksana yang dapat dilakukan pada atresia esofagus yaitu pembedahan, perawatan suportif serta pemberian antibiotik, ampicillin, dan gentamisin sesuai dengan kasus yang ditangani. Tujuan dari pembedahan adalah untuk menyambungkan kantung esofagus bagian atas dengan bagian bawah. Penegakan diagnosis atresia esofagus dianjurkan dilakukan sedini mungkin agar komplikasi pada paru dapat diminimalkan.
