Laporan Kasus: Efektivitas Teknik Akupunktur Plum Blossom Dan Elektroakupunktur Pada Telogen Effluvium Kronis

Telogen effluvium adalah gangguan kulit kepala yang ditandai dengan kerontokan rambut berlebihan. Ini merupakan salah satu bentuk alopecia non-sikatriks yang paling umum ditemukan dalam praktik klinis. Kondisi ini sangat mengganggu dan dapat menyebabkan penurunan kepercayaan diri yang signifikan, terutama pada wanita. Penanganan biasanya mencakup terapi farmakologis, baik secara oral maupun topikal. Namun, penggunaan jangka panjang dari terapi tersebut seringkali menimbulkan efek samping. Seorang wanita berusia 29 tahun datang dengan keluhan kerontokan rambut menyeluruh selama tiga tahun terakhir, yang memburuk dalam enam bulan terakhir. Pasien menjalani 12 sesi terapi akupunktur plum blossom yang dikombinasikan dengan elektroakupunktur pada tubuh. Terjadi perbaikan kerontokan rambut, yang dibuktikan dengan tumbuhnya rambut-rambut halus serta perbaikan pada hair-pull test. Perbaikan juga terlihat pada hasil trikoskopi dan trikogram, dengan persentase rambut fase telogen menurun menjadi 15,6%. Skor DLQI dan PSS-10 juga menunjukkan penurunan pada akhir terapi.
