Prevalensi Dan Karakteristik Pasien Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Usia Remaja di RSUD Undata Kota Palu Tahun 2020 – 2024

Prevalensi Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) di Indonesia dan dunia terus meningkat, sementara remaja menjadi kelompok paling rentan akibat perilaku berisiko, kurangnya edukasi kesehatan reproduksi, dan terbatasnya data pada kelompok usia remaja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional terhadap data sekunder dari 18 pasien yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil menunjukkan prevalensi tertinggi terjadi pada tahun 2022 dan 2024 (23,8%) dan terendah pada 2020–2021 (16,6%), dengan mayoritas pasien berjenis kelamin laki-laki (83,3%), berpendidikan Sekolah Menengah Pertama (38,9%), mengalami anemia (66,7%), dan sebagian besar tidak menderita infeksi oportunistik (66,7%). Jenis infeksi oportunistik yang ditemukan meliputi tuberculosis (16,7%), kandidiasis (11,1%), dan diare kronis (5,5%). Kejadian HIV pada remaja menunjukkan pola fluktuatif dengan dominasi pada laki-laki berpendidikan dasar, sehingga diperlukan penguatan program edukasi dan pencegahan berbasis kesehatan reproduksi untuk menekan risiko penularan HIV di kelompok usia ini. Temuan ini menjadi dasar dalam penguatan program skrining dini dan edukasi kesehatan reproduksi bagi remaja di daerah dengan beban HIV tinggi.
