Optimalisasi Asupan Protein Pada Pasien Usia Lanjut Dengan Limfoma Non-Hodgkin Dan Penyakit Ginjal Kronis : Laporan Kasus

Limfoma Non-Hodgkin merupakan salah satu dari sepuluh penyebab utama insidensi dan mortalitas pada pasien kanker. Insidensi kumulatif kanker pada pasien dengan Penyakit Ginjal Kronis lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan mereka yang tidak mengalami CKD. Asupan protein yang adekuat, dengan mempertimbangkan kondisi CKD, diperlukan untuk mengurangi penurunan berat badan, mempertahankan massa otot, meningkatkan kekuatan otot, serta menurunkan tingkat rawat inap. Seorang laki-laki 63 tahun dengan malnutrisi berat (IMT 15,7 kg/m2) dan muscle wasting berat dikonsultasikan pada Departemen Gizi Klinik dengan diagnosis Limfoma Non-Hodgkin mata kanan dengan penyakit ginjal kronis (kreatinin 2,3 mg/dL). Pasien lanjut usia dengan kanker dan CKD menghadapi tantangan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi yang adekuat, meningkatkan status nutrisi, mempertahankan massa otot, dan menjaga fungsi ginjal. Kasus ini menunjukkan bahwa terapi medik gizi dengan preskripsi kalori yang adekuat dan protein 1,2 g/kgBB, sinergis dengan rekomendasi ESPEN menghasilkan peningkatan massa otot 0,6%, peningkatan berat badan 3%, peningkatan kekuatan genggam tangan 30,8% dan kapasitas fungsional setelah evaluasi satu bulan dengan pemantauan ketat fungsi ginjal.
