Pelatihan Regulasi Emosi Pada Mahasiswa Baru

ABSTRAK
Mahasiswa baru merupakan mahasiswa yang berada di tahun pertama perkuliahan.Periode tahun pertama perkuliahan sering dianggap sebagai masa sulit dan penuh tantangan. Penyesuaian kuliah di tahun pertama menjadi suatu hal yang penting dilakukan karena berdampak pada prestasi akademik, retensi, efikasi diri, kesejahteraan psikologis, dan kondisi emosi mahasiswa. Berhasil atau tidaknya penyesuaian kuliah itu sendiri dipengaruhi salah satunya oleh Regulasi Emosi. Oleh karena itu program pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa Pelatihan regulasi emosi bagi mahasiswa baru. Pelatihan yang dilakukan akan memberikan pengalaman dan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk memperoleh wawasan serta mempraktekan langsung keterampilan regulasi emosi. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa baru Perguruan Tinggi di Bandar Lampung. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan ini dapat dikatakan berhasil dalam pemahaman secara kognitif, dibuktikan ketika peserta diminta untuk menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh para fasilitator peserta memahami mengenai materi yang di sampaikan dengan beberapa dasar hal yang mereka pahami dan menjadi lebih paham ketika melakukan pelatihan.

ABSTRACT
New students are students who are in their first year of study. The period of the first year of college is often considered a difficult and challenging period. Adjustment of lectures in the first year is an important thing to do because it has an impact on academic achievement, retention, self-efficacy, psychological well-being, and emotional conditions of students. The success or failure of the lecture adjustment itself is influenced by Emotion Regulation. Therefore this community service program is in the form of emotional regulation training for new students. The training will provide experience and opportunities for students to gain insight and directly practice emotion regulation skills. Participants in this activity were new university students in Bandar Lampung. Based on the activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that this training can be said to be successful in cognitive understanding. training.
