Edukasi Management Pengelolaan Faktor Penyebab sebagai Upaya Pencegahan Serangan Stroke dan Serangan Berulang

ABSTRAK

 

Stroke merupakan masalah kesehatan yang dikategorikan sebagai salah satu penyebab kematian utama pada penyakit tidak menular dengan proyeksi mengalami peningkatan 20,5% ditahun 2030. Stroke sebagai beban masalah kesehatan dunia, tidak hanya merujuk pada kejadian kematian saat serangan akut atau pertama, namun juga dapat memiliki tingkat resiko kematian yang lebih tinggi pada serangan berulang atau kekambuhan. Sebagai upaya yang dilakukan untuk mencegah hal tersebut adalah dengan management pengelolaan faktor faktor penyebab sebagai upaya pencegahan serangan stroke dan serangan berulang. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pelaksanaan dengan edukasi kewaspadaan serangan berulang stroke dan peran penting keluarga sebagai informal caregiver untuk mencegah kegawatan stroke berulang. Pengabmas ini berfokus pada peningkatan pengetahuan tentang peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang management pengelolaan faktor faktor penyebab sebagai upaya pencegahan serangan stroke dan serangan berulang. Pengabmas ini dilakukan Desa Wonorejo Surakarta pada Mei 2023 dengan melibatkan seluruh masyarakat dengan usia dewasa lanjut, mahasiswa dosen. Kegiatan dalam pengabmas ini antara lain adalah memberikan edukasi, sosialisasi tentang tentang Hal apa saja yang perlu dijawaspadai untuk mencegah serangan berulang stroke. Perbandingan hasil pre-test dan post-test 18 peserta sebelum pemberian edukasi diketahui bahwa jumlah peserta yang dapat menjawab semua pertanyaan dengan tepat adalah 0 orang. Adapun setelah pemberian edukasi, diketahui bahwa 13 peserta dapat menjawab semua pertanyaan dengan tepat. Metode dan media yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini efektif dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta penyuluhan dilihat dari kemampuan peserta dalam sesi recall tanya jawab dan diskusi, terutama tentang mengenali faktor resiko dan pencegahannya untuk mengurangi kemungkinan serangan atau serangan berulang.

ABSTRACT

 

Stroke is a health problem that is categorized as one of the main causes of death in non-communicable diseases with a projected increase of 20.5% in 2030. Stroke as a global health problem does not only refer to the incidence of death during an acute or first attack, but can also have The risk of death is higher in recurrent attacks or recurrence. As an effort to prevent this is the management of causal factors as an effort to prevent strokes and recurrent attacks. This community service is carried out with the aim of increasing knowledge and implementation by educating on awareness of recurrent stroke attacks and the important role of the family as an informal caregiver to prevent recurrent stroke emergencies. The implementation will be carried out on October 2022- November 2022 in Wonorejo Village, Surakarta, using the seminar, discussion/question and answer, and monitoring methods. The media used are LCD, ppt, booklet and monitoring sheet. This community service focuses on increasing knowledge about increasing public knowledge about the management of causative factors as an effort to prevent strokes and recurrent attacks. This community service was carried out by Wonorejo Village, Surakarta in May 2023, involving the entire community, older adults, students, lecturers. Activities in this community service include providing education, outreach about what things need to be watched out for to prevent recurrent strokes. The methods and media used in this community service can effectively increase the knowledge of counseling participants as seen from the participants' abilities in question and answer recall and discussion sessions, especially regarding recognizing risk factors and preventing them to reduce the possibility of repeated attacks or attacks. This result shows an increase in the knowledge of the counseling participants, that seen from the ability of the participants in the question and answer recall session and discussion, especially about identifying risk factors and prevention to reduce the possibility of attacks or repeated attacks.
