Pelatihan Pengelolaan Nutrisi dan Obat pada Kelompok Kegiatan Bina Keluarga Lansia (BKL) BKKBN Provinsi Jawa Barat

ABSTRAK
Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) secara berkesinambungan memberikan dukungan pada Perawatan jangka panjang lansia di Indonesia. Program yang direncanakan terus ditingkatkan kualitasnya seiring dengan peningkatan angka harapan hidup. Aspek nutrisi dan pengelolaan obat bagi lansia memegang peranan penting dalam mempertahankan status Kesehatan, mencegah multimorbiditas dan frailty pada lansia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM). Kegiatan PKM dalam bentuk pelatihan dan orientasi pengelolaan nutrisi dan obat telah dilaksanakan pada program BKKBN Provinsi Jawa Barat. Sebanyak enam puluh sembilan peserta telah berpartisipasi mewakili kader kota Bandung, Kabupaten Bandung dan Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah pemberian pelatihan tentang nutrisi dan obat pada lansia. Pada sesi diskusi peserta berperan aktif dengan berdiskusi terkait strategi pemenuhan nutrisi dan pengelolaan obat pada lansia dengan tepat. Para peserta sepakat menekan angka penggunaan obat-obatan racikan tanpa resep dokter di masyarakat karena hal ini sangat merugikan lansia. Program lanjutan dibutuhkan untuk menjamin kesinambungan dan peningkatan kualitas kader pada program bina keluarga lansia.

ABSTRACT
The Indonesian National Population and Family Planning Agency continuously provides support for the long-term care of the elderly. The quality of the planned program continues to be improved in line with the increase in life expectancy. Nutritional aspects and drug management for the elderly play an important role in maintaining health status and preventing multimorbidity and frailty in the elderly. Community service programs in the form of training and orientation in the management of nutrition and medicine have been implemented in the West Java Provincial BKKBN program. Sixty-nine participants have participated, representing cadres from the city of Bandung, Bandung Regency, and West Bandung Regency. There is an increase in knowledge before and after providing training on nutrition and medicine to the elderly. In the discussion session, the participants played an active role by discussing strategies related to nutrition fulfillment and drug management in the elderly properly. The participants agreed to reduce the use of concoction medicines without a doctor's prescription in the community because this is very detrimental to the elderly. Follow-up programs are needed to ensure continuity and improve the quality of cadres in the elderly family development program.
