Penerapan Online Responsive Feeding Checklist dan Peer Support Grup Ibu untuk Mencegah Stunting Pada Anak Balita di Wilayah Puskesmas Tebing Syahbandar

ABSTRAK

 

Nutrisi merupakan faktor penting untuk pertumbuhan pada periode 1000 hari pertama kehidupan. Periode ini merupakan masa yang kritis yang dapat berdampak seumur hidup anak. Salah satu dampak dari nutrisi yang tidak tepat adalah stunting. Stunting dapat dicegah dengan pemberian makan yang responsive atau responsive feeding. Dukungan dari teman sebaya dan pemantauan dengan online checklist feeding dapat meningkatkan pemberian MPASI. Penerapan online responsive feeding checklist dan peer support grup ibu untuk meningkatkan pemberian MPASI yang tepat untuk mencegah stunting pada anak balita di wilayah puskesmas Tebing Syahbandar. Metode yang dilakukan adalah pengukuran terlebih dahulu praktik pemberian makan responsive pada ibu, kemudian dilakukan penyuluhan dan pembentukan kelompok ibu dimana ibu yang memiliki praktik positif responsive feeding digabungkan dengan ibu yang negatif responsive feeding. Selanjutnya pemantauan dilakukan dengan online Penerapan online responsive feeding checklist dan peer support grup ibu sebelum dilakukan peer support group diskusi mayoritas negatif responsive feeding sekitar 82.5%. Sedangkan setelah dilakukan peer support group ditemukan terjadi peningkatan praktik positif responsive feeding sebesar 87.5%. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan menjelaskan bahwa praktik pemberian makan positif responsive dapat mencegah terjadinya stunting pada anak balita.

ABSTRACT

 

Nutrition is an important factor for growth in the first 1000 days of life. This period is a critical period that can have an impact throughout the child's life. One of the impacts of improper nutrition is stunting. Stunting can be prevented by providing responsive feeding. Support from peers and monitoring with online checklist feeding can increase MPASI provision. Objective of implementation of an online responsive feeding checklist and peer support group for mothers to increase the provision of appropriate MPASI to prevent stunting in children under five in the Tebing Syahbandar community health center area. The method used was to first measure responsive feeding practices in mothers, then provide counseling and form mothers' groups where mothers who had positive responsive feeding practices were combined with mothers who had negative responsive feeding practices. Furthermore, monitoring was carried out online. Application of the online responsive feeding checklist and peer support group for mothers before the peer support group discussion was carried out, the majority of negative responsive feeding was around 82.5%. Meanwhile, after the peer support group was carried out, it was found that there was an increase in positive responsive feeding practices by 87.5%. The conclusion of the activity explains that positive responsive feeding practices can prevent stunting in children under five.
