Aktivasi Kader Surabaya Hebat melalui Stroke Self-Management Program pada Penderita Stroke

ABSTRAK

 

Penderita post stroke perlu mendapatkan pendidikan kesehatan secara menyeluruh dan memerlukan jangka waktu yang panjang dalam mengelola dirinya untuk mencegah kejadian stroke berulang. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengaktivasi Kader Surabaya Hebat dalam pemberian edukasi Stroke Self-Management Program sebagai upaya peningkatan kemandirian dan kemaknaan hidup penderita post stroke. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan dan memberikan penyuluhan stroke self-management program, beserta pelatihan stroke self-management program. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama satu bulan dan diikuti oleh 24 kader dan masyarakat. Sebelum dilakukan pelatihan tentang Self-Management program, hampir seluruhnya (75%) responden memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan kurang dan setelah dilakukan pelatihan didaptkan hampir seluruhnya (83%) memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan baik. Aktivasi kader Surabaya sehat melalui stroke self-management program dan peningkatan pengetahuan kader serta masyarakat.

ABSTRACT

 

Post-stroke sufferers need to receive comprehensive health education and need a long period of time to manage themselves to prevent recurrent strokes. Implementation of this community service activity aims to activate the Great Surabaya Cadre in providing Stroke Self-Management Program education as an effort to increase the independence and meaning of life for post-stroke sufferers. The method used in this community service activity is to provide health education and provide education on the stroke self-management program, along with stroke self-management program training. This activity was carried out for one month and was attended by 24 cadres and the community. before the training on the Self-Management program was carried out, almost all (75%) of the respondents had poor knowledge and skills and after the training it was found that almost all (83%) had good knowledge and skills. activation of healthy Surabaya cadres through the stroke self-management program and increasing knowledge of cadres and the community.
