Manajemen Kecemasan : Kampus Aman dan Nyaman Dari Kriminal

ABSTRAK

 

Lingkungan kampus idealnya menjadi ruang yang aman dan kondusif bagi mahasiswa dalam menjalankan aktivitas akademik maupun nonakademik. Namun, dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, berbagai bentuk tindakan kriminal di lingkungan kampus, seperti pencurian, perampasan, pelecehan, penipuan, hingga kekerasan, masih sering terjadi. Kondisi ini menimbulkan rasa tidak aman dan berdampak pada kesehatan mental civitas akademika, khususnya mahasiswa. Untuk mengaetahui kecemasan  di lingkungan kampus dan cara mengatasinya. Ceramah dan FGD (Focus Group Discussion)  dan Pemasangan Poster. Mahasiswa menyambut baik inisiatif ini dan merasa terbantu dengan informasi yang tersedia. Diharapkan kegiatan ini menjadi pemantik untuk memperluas kampanye serupa dan membangun sistem pendukung yang lebih kuat bagi korban kekerasan. Program kampanye poster berhasil meningkatkan visibilitas isu keamanan kampus. Respons mahasiswa terhadap poster cukup positif, terlihat dari mahasiswa yang berhenti untuk menyimak penjelasan kami dan memindai QR Code yang tersedia dalam poster. Cara kami memberi penjelasan terhadap isi poster dan desain poster yang eye-catching terbukti efektif menarik perhatian mahasiswa. Mahasiswa memahami tentang kriminalitas yang terjadi dikampus dan cara mengatasinya.ke persepsi keamanan. Kecemasan ini berdampak pada konsentrasi belajar, kualitas tidur, serta keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam aktivitas akademik dan sosial. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan sistem keamanan kampus, perbaikan lingkungan fisik, serta penyediaan layanan konseling menjadi langkah penting dalam menurunkan kecemasan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan mahasiswa.

ABSTRACT

 

The ideal campus environment should be a safe and conducive space for students to carry out academic and non-academic activities. However, in recent years, various forms of criminal acts on campus, such as theft, robbery, harassment, fraud, and violence, have continued to occur frequently. This condition creates a sense of insecurity and impacts the mental health of the academic community, especially students. To determine anxiety in the campus environment and how to overcome it. Research Methods: Lectures and FGD (Focus Group Discussion) and Poster Installation. Students welcomed the initiative and found the information helpful. It is hoped that this activity will spark the expansion of similar campaigns and build a stronger support system for victims of violence. The poster campaign program successfully increased the visibility of campus security issues. Student response to the posters was quite positive, as evidenced by students stopping to listen to our explanation and scanning the QR code provided on the posters. Our way of explaining the poster's contents and the eye-catching poster design proved effective in attracting students' attention. Students understand the crime that occurs on campus and how to address it, and their perception of security. This anxiety impacts concentration, sleep quality, and student engagement in academic and social activities. Therefore, improving campus security systems, improving the physical environment, and providing counseling services are important steps in reducing anxiety and improving student well-being.
