Model Edukasi Interaktif Berbasis Teknologi Multimedia untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Motorik Anak Usia Dini

ABSTRAK

 

Kemampuan motorik merupakan salah satu aspek perkembangan penting pada anak usia dini yang memerlukan stimulasi melalui proses pembelajaran yang interaktif, menarik, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik belajar anak. Namun, pembelajaran di POS PAUD Kuncup Mekar Kelurahan Tambakharjo masih didominasi penggunaan media konvensional sehingga pemanfaatan teknologi multimedia sebagai media pembelajaran belum optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan motorik anak usia dini melalui penerapan Visual Interactive Learning Model (VILM) berbasis teknologi multimedia. Pengabdian dilaksanakan selama dua hari dengan mengintegrasikan video animasi edukatif, media visual digital, demonstrasi interaktif, aktivitas praktik, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara indoor di Gedung POS PAUD Kuncup Mekar dan outdoor di Pujasera Energi Tambakharjo untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih variatif. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan lembar observasi perkembangan kemampuan motorik anak berdasarkan indikator koordinasi mata dan tangan, ketepatan gerakan, ketelitian, kemandirian, dan partisipasi selama pembelajaran. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi multimedia berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan motorik anak usia dini yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya koordinasi gerakan tangan, ketelitian dalam menyelesaikan aktivitas, kemandirian, dan keterlibatan aktif selama proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, penggunaan media visual dan demonstrasi interaktif mampu meningkatkan perhatian dan antusiasme anak sehingga suasana belajar menjadi lebih menyenangkan.

ABSTRACT

 

Motor skills are an important aspect of early childhood development that requires stimulation through interactive, engaging learning processes that are tailored to children's learning characteristics. However, learning at the Kuncup Mekar Early Childhood Education Center (PAUD POS) in Tambakharjo Village is still dominated by conventional media, resulting in suboptimal use of multimedia technology as a learning medium. This community service activity aims to improve early childhood motor skills through the implementation of the Visual Interactive Learning Model (VILM) based on multimedia technology. The service was carried out over two days by integrating educational animated videos, digital visual media, interactive demonstrations, practical activities, mentoring, and evaluation. The activity was carried out indoors at the Kuncup Mekar Early Childhood Education Center (POS PAUD) Building and outdoors at the Tambakharjo Energy Food Court to provide a more varied learning experience. Evaluation was carried out using observation sheets for the development of children's motor skills based on indicators of eye-hand coordination, movement accuracy, precision, independence, and participation during learning. The results of the community service showed that the application of multimedia technology-based learning successfully improved early childhood motor skills, characterized by increased hand movement coordination, accuracy in completing activities, independence, and active involvement during the learning process. Furthermore, the use of visual media and interactive demonstrations can increase children's attention and enthusiasm, making the learning environment more enjoyable.
