Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Dalam Upaya Pencegahan Dan Pengendalian Covid -19

ABSTRAK
Penyebaran virus corona ini sangat cepat, maka harus segera untuk ditangani secara bersama-sama. Saat ini, tidak ada obat khusus untuk menyembuhkan COVID-19, sehingga memerlukan strategi penting yang harus diterapkan di masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku preventif untuk mencegah penularan COVID-19. Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan promosi kesehatan tentang pentingnya pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian COVID-19. Metode Bentuk kegiatan PKM ini berupa pemberian edukasi melalui webinar. Peserta pada pelaksanaan ini sejumlah 59 responden masyarakat umum. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan hasil pretest 86,78 menjadi 92,88 pada posttest dengan nilai uji efektifitas kegiatan p-value sebesar 0.000 setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM. Analisis dilakukan dengan uji paired T test menggunakan SPSS Statistik versi 23.0. Edukasi masyarakat terkait pentingnya pencegahan dan pengendalian COVID-19 dinilai efektif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan perilaku masyarakat untuk hidup berdampingan dengan COVID dan mampu mencegah penularan lebih lanjut pada masyarakat luas. Edukasi dibutuhkan bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat Indonesia. Adaptasi perilaku masyarakat yang baik dapat meningkatkan kembali produktivitas dan juga kualitas hidup masyarakat secara umum.

ABSTRACT
The spread of the coronavirus is very fast, so it must be handled together. Currently, there is no specific drug to cure COVID-19, so it requires an important strategy that must be implemented in the community to increase knowledge and preventive behavior to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. This Community Service aims to provide health promotion about the importance of community empowerment in efforts to prevent and control COVID-19. Methods The form of this PKM activity is the form of providing education through webinars. Results: Participants in this implementation were 60 respondents from the community. The results of the activity showed an increase in the average knowledge of the pretest results from 86.78 to 92.88 in the posttest with a p-value of 0.000 activity effectiveness test after the implementation. The analysis was carried out by using a paired T-test using SPSS Statistics version 23.0. Public education regarding the importance of preventing and controlling COVID-19 is considered effective in increasing public awareness and behavior to coexist with COVID and being able to prevent further transmission to the wider community. Education is needed for all levels of Indonesian society. Good adaptation of community behavior can increase productivity and also the quality of life of the community.
