Peningkatan Pengetahuan dan Keterampilan Identifikasi Dermatitis Atopik di Rumah Tahanan Negara Kelas II-B Kupang

ABSTRAK

 

Dermatitis Atopik (DA) merupakan salah satu jenis kelainan kulit yang subjektif, seringkali ditandai oleh rasa gatal. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan narapidana Kelas IIB Kupang dalam mengidentifikasi DA. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendidikan kesehatan dan pelatihan deteksi DA. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dimulai dengan edukasi tentang DA, kemudian diberikan pelatihan untuk identifikasi DA dengan alat ukur Scoring Atopic Dermatitis (SCORAD). Terdapat 85% responden yang pengetahuannya meningkat setelah mendapat edukasi. Dari pelatihan SCORAD, seluruh responden 100% mampu mengobservasi DA yang sedang dialami dan didapatkan 67,89% yang termasuk dalam kategori DA sedang, terdapat 31,19% dengan DA ringan dan 0,92% dengan DA berat. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah tingkat pengetahuan responden menjadi lebih baik setelah mendapatkan edukasi. Seluruh responden mampu melakukan observasi terhadap DA yang dialami, dan mayoritas responden saat ini mengalami DA tingkat sedang. Saran dari kegiatan yang dilakukan ini adalah observasi mandiri yang dilakukan oleh responden hendaknya terus dilakukan rutin untuk mencegah timbulnya komplikasi DA.

ABSTRACT

 

Atopic Dermatitis (AD) is a subjective skin disorder, often characterized by itching. The purpose of this activity was to increased the knowledge and skills of Class IIB Kupang prisoners in identifying DA. The activity began with education about AD, then training was given to identify AD with the Scoring Atopic Dermatitis (SCORAD) measuring instrument. The target of this activity is all prisoners of Class IIB Kupang Rutan. There were 85% of respondents whose knowledge increases after receiving education. From the SCORAD training, all respondents were 100% able to observe the AD being experienced and it was found that 67.89% were included in the moderate AD category, there were 31.19% with mild AD and 0.92% with severe AD. The conclusion of this activity is that the respondents' knowledge level becomes better after receiving education. All respondents were able to observe the AD experienced, and the majority of respondents currently experience moderate AD. Suggestions from this activity is that self-observation carried out by respondents should continue to be carried out routinely to prevent AD complications.
