1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan: Nutrisi dan Tumbuh Kembang Anak

ABSTRAK
1000 hari pertama kehidupan merupakan masa krusial (golden age) bagi anak, karena akan memengaruhi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan baik dari pengetahuan dan fisik anak. Apabila dalam 1000 hari pertama terjadi gangguan gizi atau malnutrisi, selain dari anak mengalami gangguan pertumbuhan, tetapi akan berperawakan pendek, namun perkembangan otak juga akan terganggu dan memengaruhi kecerdasan anak, serta mengalami kerentanan penyakit. Gangguan tumbuh kembang ini disebut dengan stunting. Masalah stunting merupakan masalah gizi yang cukup besar terjadi di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, pencegahan terjadinya stunting sangat diperlukan melalui pemberian edukasi kepada masyarakat khususnya tentang nutrisi dan tumbuh kembang anak di masa golden age. Webinar edukasi ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang nutrisi khususnya dalam prinsip MPASI (makanan pendamping ASI) serta mendeteksi tumbuh kembang anak khususnya di 1000 hari pertama kehidupan. Webinar edukasi ini dilakukan dua sesi, dan di setiap sesi diberikan pertanyaan kepada peserta. Sesi pertama berkaitan dengan MPASI dan diberikan pooling tentang pengetahuan ASI dan MPASI, dan diperoleh pengetahuan peserta baik dimana 60% memahami manfaat ASI dan MPASI. Secara keseluruhan kegiatan ini berlangsung dengan baik dan peserta sangat antusias dengan banyak pertanyaan tentang kedua materi. 46% peserta menyatakan bahwa materi sesuai dengan masalah yang terjadi saat ini, dan diharapkan pada webinar selanjutnya dapat dilaksanakan secara berkala tentang tumbuh kembang dan nutrisi anak.

ABSTRACT
The first 1000 days of life is a crucial period (golden age) for children, because it will affect the growth and development of knowledge and physical of children. If there is a nutritional disorder or malnutrition in the first 1000 days, besides the child has experiencing growth disorders, but will be short stature, and brain development will also be disrupted and affect the child’s intelligence, and experience disease susceptibility. This growth and development disorder is called stunting. Stunting is a large nutritional problem, especially in Indonesia. Therefore, the prevention of stunting is very necessary through the provision of education to the public about nutrition and child development during the golden age. The aim of webinar was to increasing public knowledge about nutrition, especially about the principles of complementary food for breast milk and detecting child growth and development in the first 1000 days of life. This webinar was conducted in two sessions, and in each session, questions were given to participants. The first session was related to complementary food for breast milk and provided with pooling on knowledge of breast feeding and complementary food, and the participants’ knowledge was good where 60% understood the benefits of breastfeeding and and complementary food element. Overall of this activity going well and the participants were very enthusiastic with many questions about material. Based on evaluation from participants, 46% of participants stated that the material was in accordance with the current problems, and it was hoped that it would be continued regarding child growth-development and nutrition.
