Upaya Peningkatan Pengetahuan Masyarakat dalam mengenali kelainan gigi dan gusi, Menjaga Kesehatan gigi dan mulut, serta tips ke dokter gigi yang aman di masa Pandemi covid-19

ABSTRAK
Pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai kelainan gusi dan gigi sangat penting sebagai landasan menjaga oral hygiene. Pandemic COVID-19 memiliki pengaruh terhadap kesehatan individu termasuk kesehatan gigi dan gusi. Oral hygiene yang baik selain meningkatkan kesehatan gigi dan mulut juga kesehatan secara umum. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai kelainan gusi dan gigi, cara menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut, serta tips aman ke dokter gigi di masa pandemi COVID-19. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, peragaan, dan pemutaran video. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukan pengetahuan peserta penyuluhan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 32% setelah penyuluhan. Hal ini menunjukan penyuluhan berjalan dengan baik. Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat setelah menerima penyuluhan materi yang diberikan.

ABSTRACT
Public knowledge about gum and dental health is very important as a basis for maintaining oral hygiene. The COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on individual health, including the health of gums and teeth. Good oral hygiene improves dental and oral health also general health. The aims were to increase knowledge about dental and gum disorders, how to maintain dental and oral health, as well as safety tips for going to the dentist during the COVID-19 pandemic. The community service is carried out through lectures, demonstrations, and video screenings. The results of the activity showed that the knowledge of the participants had an increase in value by 32% after the material was provided. This shows that the community service is going well. There is an increase in public knowledge after receiving the materials.
