Penggunaan Audio Hipnoterapi dalam Meningkatkan Self Efficcacy pada Remaja di Smk Ruteng

ABSTRAK

Bunuh diri adalah penyebab kematian kedua pada usia 15-29 tahun dan salah satu sumber terbesar kematian dini. Bunuh diri diperkirakan menjadi penyebab 1,4% dari total kematian dan 15% dari kematian akibat cedera di dunia.  Kabupaten Manggarai yang terletak di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur awal tahun 2019 hingga Agustus 2019 tercatat terdapat 12 kasus bunuh diri. Lebih dari 50% kasus tersebut terjadi pada anak usia remaja.  Penyebab bunuh diri dapat berupa faktor lingkungan dan interpersonal. Self-efficacy sebagai faktor interpersonal telah dipelajari sebagai langkah menghindari upaya bunuh diri. Salah satu Langkah yang dapat diupayakan untuk mengatasi resiko bunuh diri adalah peningkatan self efficacy siswa/siswi SMK Ruteng melalui upaya penyuluhan dan pelatihan hipoterapi. Setelah kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan diharapkan siswa/siswi SMK Swakarsa dapat memiliki pengetahuan tentang pentingnya self effikasi dalam upaya pencegahan bunuh diri dan keterampilan self hypnosis untuk meningkatkan self efficacy diri secara mandiri. Terdapat kesadaran dari siswa siswi akan pentingnya self efficacy bagi kesehatan mental dan terdapat ketertarikan siswa-siswi untuk mempelajari dan mencoba sendiri self hypnosis sebagai upaya peningkatan self efficacy.

ABSTRACT

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among 15-29 year olds and one of the biggest sources of premature death. Suicide is estimated to be the cause of 1.4% of total deaths and 15% of injury deaths worldwide. Manggarai Regency, which is located in East Nusa Tenggara Province, from early 2019 to August 2019 there were 12 cases of suicide. More than 50% of these cases occur in adolescents. Causes of suicide can be environmental and interpersonal factors. Self-efficacy as an interpersonal factor has been studied as a measure to avoid suicide attempts. One of the steps that can be taken to overcome the risk of suicide is to increase the self-efficacy of students of SMK Ruteng through counseling and hypotherapy training. After the service activities are carried out, it is hoped that the Swakarsa Vocational School students can have knowledge about the importance of self-efficacy in suicide prevention efforts and self-hypnosis skills to increase self-efficacy independently. There is awareness from students about the importance of self-efficacy for mental health and there is interest from students to learn and try self-hypnosis as an effort to increase self-efficacy.
