Hubungan Usia, Jenis Kelamin, dan Body Mass Index dengan Gambaran Foto Toraks pada Pasien yang Melakukan Medical Check Up

ABSTRACT

 

A medical check-up (MCU) is a routine health assessment conducted at healthcare facilities. The purpose of the MCU is to monitor an individual’s health condition and detect potential issues early. One of the examinations conducted during an MCU is a chest radiography (CXR) examination. Public awareness of the importance of MCU remains low, as many individuals consider themselves healthy and are also concerned about the cost. The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between age, gender, and body mass index (BMI) with CXR images in MCU patients at AMC Muhammadiyah Hospital, Yogyakarta. This study is an observational analytical study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 96 patients, selected from medical record data of individuals who underwent medical check-ups at AMC Muhammadiyah Hospital, Yogyakarta. Judgment/purposive sampling techniques were employed. The data were analyzed using the chi-square test. The results of the study revealed no significant relationship between age and chest radiography images, as indicated by a p-value of 0.534 (p > 0.05). Similarly, no significant relationship was found between gender and chest radiographic images, with a p-value of 0.061 (p > 0.05). Additionally, no relationship was observed between body mass index and chest radiographic images, as shown by a p-value of 0.756 (p > 0.05). The study concluded that there was no significant relationship between age, gender, or body mass index and chest radiographic images in the multivariate analysis.

ABSTRAK

 

Medical checkup (MCU) adalah proses pemeriksaan kesehatan rutin yang dilakukan di fasilitas kesehatan. Tujuan MCU untuk memastikan kondisi kesehatan seseorang agar dapat dideteksi sejak dini. Salah satu pemeriksaan yang dilakukan pada saat MCU ialah pemeriksaan radiografi toraks (CXR). kesadaran Masyarakat untuk melakukan MCU masih rendah, karena menganggap dirinya sehat dan juga karena masalah biaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan hubungan usia, jenis kelamin, dan Body Mass Index dengan gambaran CXR pada pasien MCU di RS AMC Muhammadiyah, Yogyakarta.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel didapat sebanyak 96 pasien yang berasal dari data rekam medis pasien yang melakukan medical checkup di RS AMC Muhammdiyah Yogyakarta dan menggunakan teknik judgment/purposive sampling. Kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara usia dengan gambaran radiografi toraks, hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai p=0,534 (p>0,05). Kemudian tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara jenis kelamin dengan gambaran radiografi toraks dengan didapatkan nilai p=0,061 (p>0,05). Selain itu, tidak terdapat hubungan juga antara body mass index dengan gambaran radiografi toraks, hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai p=0,756 (p>0,05). Tidak terdapat hubungan antara ketiga kelompok analisis multivariat, baik kelompok usia dengan gambaran radiografi toraks, jenis kelamin dengan gambaran radiografi toraks maupun body mass index dengan gambaran radiografi toraks.
