To find an effective educational model for parents to increase the ability of parents to carry out stoma care at home. We conducted a systematic review review from 2008 to 2018. Data were collected from four databases (google scholar, ProQuest, clinical key, and pubmed), using the keywords education, parental ability and stoma care. Education affects parents' ability to perform stoma care at home Educational model has the greatest influence in reducing the incidence of infection in children with stoma when stoma care is performed at home. Nurses have an important role to provide health education when patients are planned to be discharged to their homes.
