KORELASI MASSA OTOT DAN MASSA LEMAK TOTAL DENGAN RESPON BARORESEPTOR : STUDI CROSS SECTIONAL PADA KOMUNITAS SENAM WANITA

Abstract


Rendahnya tingkat aktivitas fisik dapat meningkatkan risiko terjadinya penyakit kardiovaskular. Kontrol sistem kardiovaskular diperankan oleh respon baroreseptor. Respon baroreseptor dapat diukur menggunakan metode schellong test, dengan mengevaluasi selisih tekanan darah dan denyut nadi pada posisi berbaring dan berdiri. Selain itu, respon baroreseptor dipengaruhi oleh komposisi tubuh dan indeks massa tubuh (IMT). Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui korelasi komposisi tubuh dan indeks massa tubuh dengan respon baroreseptor. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah peserta senam Klinik Pratama Unimus dan Yayasan Baitul Nur Muqorrobin Demak yang berjenis kelamin wanita. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling yang menggunakan data primer. Data yang diambil antara lain, komposisi tubuh diukur dengan BIA, IMT dengan microtoise dan timbangan digital, dan respon baroreseptor menggunakan schellong test yang diukur dengan sphygmomanometer digital. Analisis data untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan rank spearman. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara massa otot dengan respon baroreseptor terhadap selisih denyut nadi (p=0,004) dan (r=-0,401), massa lemak total dengan respon baroreseptor terhadap selisih sistolik (p=0,038) dan (r=-0,298), massa lemak total dengan respon baroreseptor terhadap selisih denyut nadi (p=0,004) dan (r=0,403), dan lemak subkutan dengan respon baroreseptor terhadap selisih denyut nadi (p=0,009) dan (r=0,367). Respon baroreseptor secara signifikan berkorelasi dengan massa otot, massa lemak total, dan lemak subkutan.
