Hubungan Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) dengan Kebiasaan Makan Malam dan Pola Tidur pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2
Abstract
Diabetes melitus tipe 2 ialah penyakit kronis yang prevalensinya terus meningkat dan berkaitan dengan berbagai faktor gaya hidup, termasuk kebiasaan makan malam dan pola tidur. Kedua faktor tersebut diduga dapat memengaruhi Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) yang berperan dalam pengendalian penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kebiasaan makan malam dan pola tidur dengan IMT pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Rumah Sakit Mardi Waluyo Metro tahun 2025. Penelitian menggunakan desain analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dan dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari hingga Maret 2026 di Rumah Sakit Mardi Waluyo. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 yang menjalani rawat jalan dan rawat inap. Sampel penelitian sejumlah 73 responden dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Kriteria inklusi meliputi pasien dengan kadar gula darah puasa ≥126 mg/dL, berusia 35–60 tahun, rutin mengonsumsi obat diabetes melitus, dan telah menderita diabetes melitus lebih dari 1 tahun. Pola tidur dinilai menggunakan Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), kebiasaan makan malam menggunakan Night Eating Questionnaire (NEQ), dan data IMT diperoleh dari rekam medis. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil analisis menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara kebiasaan makan malam dengan IMT (p = 0,589) dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara pola tidur dengan IMT (p = 0,310). Kebiasaan makan malam dan pola tidur tidak berhubungan secara bermakna dengan IMT pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2, sehingga IMT pada populasi ini perlu dipandang sebagai hasil dari berbagai faktor gaya hidup dan klinis.
