Hubungan Penggunaan Media Sosial dengan Perilaku Seksual Remaja di Provinsi Kalimantan Utara
Abstract
Media sosial kini banyak digunakan oleh remaja untuk berkomunikasi, memperoleh informasi, mencari hiburan, serta membangun interaksi sosial. Namun, penggunaan yang kurang bijak dapat berkaitan dengan perilaku seksual remaja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan penggunaan media sosial dengan perilaku seksual pada remaja di Provinsi Kalimantan Utara, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan potong lintang dan dilaksanakan pada Desember 2025 di SMA/SMK Kalimantan Utara. Sebanyak 265 siswa dipilih menggunakan convenience sampling. Penelitian ini telah memperoleh persetujuan etik dari Komite Etik Penelitian Kesehatan Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Borneo Tarakan (No. 215/KEPK-FIKES UBT/X/2025). Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner daring 11 butir. Seluruh item skala penggunaan media sosial valid dan reliabel (r = 0,138–0,579; Cronbach’s alpha = 0,727), sedangkan item perilaku seksual valid (r = 0,152–0,204). Analisis menggunakan uji Pearson Chi-Square dan Cramer's V pada tingkat signifikansi p < 0,05. Hasil memperlihatkan bahwa sebagian besar responden perempuan (67,2%) dan proporsi terbesar berusia 16 tahun (40,0%). Proporsi terbesar penggunaan media sosial pada kategori sedang (39,2%), sedangkan 41,1% responden berada pada tertil terendah skor perilaku seksual. Uji Pearson Chi-Square menunjukkan p = 0,006 (χ² = 14,395) dan Cramer’s V = 0,165. Terdapat hubungan signifikan namun lemah antara penggunaan media sosial dan perilaku seksual remaja SMA/SMK di Provinsi Kalimantan Utara. Hal ini menunjukkan perlunya penguatan literasi digital dan edukasi kesehatan reproduksi bagi remaja.
