Pemberdayaan dan Kemandirian Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak Melalui Pembentukan Kampung Komplementer di Kelurahan Pedungan

ABSTRAK

 

Kelompok ibu dan anak merupakan kelompok yang rentan mengalami gangguan kesehatan sehingga diperlukan program percepatan penurunan angka kesakitan serta masalah terkait melalui pemberdayaan Masyarakat. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah Pembentukan Kampung Komplementer. Untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat khususnya ibu-ibu PKK dan Kader dengan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengenai layanan komplementer, dan meningkatkan kualitas kehidupan masyarakat melalui peningkatan kemandirian kesehatan. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan adalah membentuk kader komplementer, pelatihan dan pendampingan kader tentang metode komplementer meliputi ramuan herbal dan obat tradisional, pijat bayi, akupresur, dan pemanfaatan tanaman obat keluarga. Monitoring dan evaluasi dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan yang tercapai adalah peningkatan pengetahuan kader tentang metode komplementer, peningkatan keterampilan melakukan teknik komplementer secara mandiri, pemanfaatan tanaman obat sebagai pelengkap kesehatan. Kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan pemberdayaan dan kemandirian khususnya kesehatan ibu dan anak.

ABSTRACT

 

Mothers and children included as a vulnerable group who need accelerated program to reduce morbidity and related problems through community empowerment. The solution offered is the establishment of a complementary village. To increase community empowerment, especially women and cadres, by increasing knowledge and skills regarding complementary services, and improving the quality of community life through increasing health independence. The activities carried out are forming complementary cadres, training and mentoring cadres on complementary methods including herbal concoctions and traditional medicines, baby massage, acupressure, and the use of family medicinal plants. Monitoring and evaluation is carried out on an ongoing basis. The results of the activities achieved were increasing cadres' knowledge about complementary methods, increasing skills in carrying out complementary techniques independently, and using medicinal plants as a complement to health. This activity is able to increase empowerment and independence, especially maternal and child health.
